Worried over what sources described as “negative reports about the President’s health,” some top officials of the Presidency are currently meeting with Nigerian media Editors ostensibly to douse or plead for leniency in the reportage of issues surrounding the health of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

Sources told pointblanknews.com that the Presidency has been “very worried” at the spate of reports in the media over the health of President Yar’Adua who has been hospitalized at a Saudi Arabia hospital in the last two weeks for heart and kidney related ailments.

It was gathered that the Editors who are currently lodged at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja, paid for by the Presidency, might reach an agreement with the Government officials to either put a stop to the reportage on President Yar’Adua’s health or make it more favorable.

The source however hinted that Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan is not part of the meeting and his approval may not have been sought.

For how long shall the presidency continue to keep us in the dark? They keep reporting lies, and the media that we rely on for the true picture of things is now being lobbied to also lie. I am sure they will not succumb, but even if they do, truth is truth, soon it shall come out.

We heard that he is not getting better. We heard that he is having a mental relapse. They few bad guys in Gov just can't accept the fact that Goodluck should be president. But Brother nothing pass God. Son we will see the shame of all those officials with no intergity to protect. Aaondaka, Yayale, Turai, and even Mark will soon realise how much the have bleeped up.

And if I were Jonathan, the moment I become president, I will sack all of them.
