My younger sister has just been arrested because she refused to buy face mask from the police. She used handkerchief as her mask and they said she must buy mask from them. Nigerian police dey sell mask now?

This mask are supposed to be given to citizens for free because they are made at the Cross River state garment factory.

This is what i call justice. Kudos to those police men that arrested her. She should be dealt with seriously. This would serve as a deter to other who disobeys the law of the land.

Let them catch more people who walk/drive around without being on mask.

Some Nigerians can be very disobedient. Just simple order they feel lazy to obey.

Just yesterday, i was about to cross being at the street light, others crossed, but I waited for it to turn green. When it turned green, i crossed but to my surprise, people were laughing at me.

Next time, the Op's sister should be on her face mask when driving through a check point.

I read on one of the thread where one was abusing an officer that they should be on mask. For God sake, these policemen are trying. Can you be on mask for 5hrs in the road checking all vehicles entering in and out from the checkpoint?

But when we the commuters put on our face mask, it would be easy for them.

My sister was using handkerchief that was thicker than the mask the policemen are selling.

Meanwhile, are the police supposed to sell mask?
