I’m thinking of traveling to Gboko from Abuja this weekend for a friend’s wedding.. I’ll be driving but I’m worried about the security situation in the country and benue in particular. Is it safe to travel by road to Gboko, Benue State. When is the best time to travel? What are the hotspots in the states. Please I need all the Advice and Suggestions I can get.

It’s safe. However avoid all night trips as much as possible. It should take you about 2hours depending on speed and the road condition.

If it's in the day time its very safe but night I don't know

Long I passed through day route, but be careful, and do serious timing,. Take off in d morning by seven try to conclude journey latest 12 noon. It's good u are driving, cos drivers sometime are very lousy. Too many stop and carry is very dangerous. The time I served in taking in taraba, that place was very peaceful
