Abeg, share it.

Have you all seen the latest update on the Vfs website? I think those selling slots have been exposed.

Good day everyone, please if i may ask for someone that is married, is it a must to submit marriage certificate, though it isn't part of their requirements on the vfs portals. And for those asking for documents required, go to vfs global type job seeker visa for portugal and you'll be able to see everything you need. People can post it for you but you should also do your findings to confirm everything sent to you.
sorry about that, your statement of purpose was not well written, in a way to convince the counselor that u know exactly what u will be doing in Portugal during ur stay and that u have plans for return back to Nigeria, If u appeal without rewriting a strong SOP u may still get denied, as that is the most important documents so it has to be well written,

Did you attach a statement of purpose earlier and what documents did you attach?
I did.
1. Appointment letter
2. Bank statement
3. Bank Reference letter
4. Insurance certificate
5. Authenticated police character
6. School certificates (Photocopy)
Data analyst certificate and IT support certificate.
7. CV
8. Letter of intent
9. Portuguese criminal letter
10. Visa application form
11. SEF Declaration of Intent response
12. Accommodation reservation
13. Flight reservation
14. Int Passport
15. Int Passport Data page(2 coloured photocopy)
16. Passport photograph white background (2 copies)

This documents are by ok!
1. How cogent was your Letter of Intent?
2. What is the relationship between your degree & your current job description
3. What is your level of experience?
4. Did your insurance, Flight reservations and accommodation date correspond?
5. Did the years of experience on to ur CV correspond with what you chose on the IEFP forms?

Most times the culprit is ALWAYS the “Letter of Intent”.
You can appeal if you can present a strong Letter of Intent plus more supporting documents ( Employment letter etc) .

Good morning everyone.
How many days does authentication take at foreign affairs? What is the procedure?

Does dependent need to go with the main applicant for appointment.

Congratulations
please How long is a job seeker visa valid for? not the duration of stay...the visa validity?
Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by Rach86: 8:47pm On May 23
How do you guys do flight reservation without payment please.
StefnieAnu:

You can try bookings.com
Put in the area you intend to stay, look for accommodation in that area be it a guest house or hostel or hotel, depending on your account balance too.
Also search for accommodation that allows a long duration for cancellation.

Please don’t make payment ahead and also, don’t pick an accommodation that doesn’t allow cancellation.

You will need to input your card details, but it’s fine, they won’t charge you until the stipulated date they put (please check the date to be sure it’s good enough for you) then once you book, you can download the booking and print and submit with your other documents at vfs.

Hope this was helpful

Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by Rach86: 9:20pm On May 23
No, dependant don't go with main applicant cos you've not secured a job yet, you're only traveling to seek for job and it's until get a job and change your visa to permanent residence then your spouse can apply under family reunification. It's until you secure a job and change the visa type then not before. Hope you understand. I read and research to find all those out

Some sites do, although I haven’t used them so I don’t know how legit it is but visa agencies do it too for a fee. I think the charge is usually between 10-30k thereabout depending on the agency and some might be more expensive too
