Just like a take out of the Shakespearean classic,"Macbeth". One these days can hardly know when their day ones becomes an embodiment of pure evil.
Friends these days and close associates have become death traps that one must not be ignorant of these sordid traps.
The social media has been awash with friends seeking validation through comments and like post.
Evaluation of friends
The human mind is capable of anything, from time to time, one must have a lithmus test of who is close.
Man has been acclaimed to be a social being and existing in isolation is nothing acceptable to the human race.
You have to reevaluate character traits from time to time, little things expose the giants in the background.
Little things like out of the blue comments from a friend should not be swept under the carpet.
Little responsibilities should be tracked especially when it comes to finances.
Never procede with the all is well attitude, when entrusting that car, that funds, that property etc.
Never fall for the that's my friend nothing will happen.
Do background checks
He might be a friend you met in the school, how well do you know such a friend?
What are the persons religious beliefs, is he an ATR that beliefs in something opposite to what you represent? How well do you Know the parents, what is the general perception of such a friend. A lot my brother must be put into research before one qualifies to be your friend.
Lost but found
Right from the moment you are out of touch with a friend, people change. Some have a lot going on in their lives, don't be a victim of someone's venom
Conclusion
As we birth into a new year in 2024, your circle can make or Mar you.
Choose friends or associates wisely. Have a standard test one must pass to be your friend.

The most painful thing about Betrayals is that it never comes from your enemies. Betrayals have always been in every society. You probably are just growing into it.

When economic hardship visits the land, and people have to scrap by just to feed their children, most will do anything to get money to buy food and meet their basic needs.

The only thing you can do is to steel yourself against betrayal just like this video explains:

You cannot stop yourself from being betrayed. You can only reduce it's effect on you.
