*Discipline Your Gaze*

*Proverbs 23:26 NKJV*
_"My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways."_

Our eyes are windows to the soul. Through them, we take in the world around us, experiencing beauty, wonder, and sometimes, hardship. But beyond physical sight, the Bible reminds us that our eyes also play a crucial role in our spiritual lives. In Proverbs 23:26, the wise father urges his son to not just offer his heart, but also to "let your eyes keep to my ways." This verse highlights the importance of seeing with intention.

Imagine a breathtaking landscape. We might glance at it and appreciate its vastness, but a focused gaze allows us to notice the intricate details, the delicate flowers blooming amidst the rocks, the playful dance of butterflies, etc. Similarly, focusing our eyes on God's ways requires intentionality. It means dedicating time to scripture, immersing ourselves in prayer, and actively seeking opportunities to witness His love in action.

The Bible uses the metaphor of eyes in several contexts to illustrate this point. In Psalm 34:15, we are told that "the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry." This verse assures us that God sees our struggles and hears our prayers. It encourages us to keep our eyes fixed on Him, knowing He is a watchful and caring presence. However, the Bible also warns against the dangers of a wandering eye. In Matthew 6:22-23, Jesus teaches that "if your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness." Here, the "evil eye" symbolizes desires that lead us astray. When we focus on worldly temptations or materialism, we lose sight of God's path. Proverbs 4:23 warns, "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." When we allow our eyes to dwell on negativity, envy, or immorality, our hearts become corrupted.

So, we need to cultivate eyes that are "good" and focused on God's ways by disciplining our gaze. Be mindful of what you consume through media and entertainment. Choose content that uplifts and inspires you and immerse yourself in God's word which enables us to see the world through His lens.
Another way is to seek God's guidance. Pray for discernment, asking God to help you focus on what truly matters (Philippians 4:cool. Prayerfully reflecting on scripture and our daily experiences helps us see God's hand at work. And focusing on blessings trains our eyes to appreciate the beauty and goodness around us. Focusing on the blessings in your life can shift your perspective and cultivate a heart of contentment.

And lastly, serve others. When we use our eyes to see the needs of those around us, we are aligning our vision with God's love. And by aligning our vision with God's will, we can use our eyes as powerful tools for growth and connection. So, Let us strive to see the world through God's eyes, appreciating His creation, cherishing His Word, and serving His purpose. As we do, our hearts will truly be His, as by intentionally focusing our eyes on God's ways we cultivate a life of spiritual clarity. We become more attuned to His presence, recognize opportunities to serve Him, and navigate life's challenges with faith and wisdom.

*PRAYER*
Father, Let our eyes become conduits of Your love, reflecting Your light into the world, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

*DECLARATION*
My eyes are disciplined eyes. I see the world through God's lens, so I see what truly matters.

*Embracing Hope in the Midst of Grief*

*Psalm 34:18 NIV*
_"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."_

Mourning is a universal experience that touches the lives of every individual at some point, bringing with it deep sorrow, pain, and a sense of loss. Whether we grieve the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a dream, mourning can feel overwhelming and insurmountable. However, even in the darkest moments of grief, there is hope to be found in the comforting presence of God.

Acknowledging and embracing our grief is the first step in navigating mourning. Grief is a natural part of the human experience, and it's essential to allow ourselves to feel and express our emotions without guilt or shame. Ecclesiastes 3:4 reminds us that there is a time to mourn, and in doing so, we create space for healing and restoration.

Finding solace in community support is crucial in the journey of mourning. In Romans 12:15 (NIV), we are instructed to "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn." By surrounding ourselves with compassionate friends, family members, or support groups who can offer comfort, empathy, and practical assistance, we can experience the love and care of God manifested through the hands and hearts of others.

Moreover, turning to God in prayer and seeking His presence in the midst of our grief can bring profound comfort and peace. In Psalm 34:18 (NIV), we are assured that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God understands our pain and sorrow intimately, and He promises to be with us in our darkest moments, offering His comfort, strength, and reassurance that we are never alone. We must never forget that we have a High Priest and He understands (Hebrews 4:15).

Additionally, finding hope and meaning in the midst of mourning can be a transformative experience that leads to greater faith and resilience. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV), we read, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Through our experiences of mourning, God equips us to comfort and support others who will walk through similar seasons of grief later on, turning our pain into a source of healing and blessing for others. We must prayerfully try to process our grief and bring out the message or messages contained in it. Our God surely knows how to turn things around, such that what the enemy meant for evil becomes a launchpad for you or someone else.

While mourning is painful and challenging, it is also an opportunity to experience God’s presence and grow in faith, compassion, and resilience. In life, we’ll be faced with moments of mourning, but we must not mourn like them who are without hope (1 Thess. 4:13). We must acknowledge our grief, seek support from others, turn to God in prayer, and find hope amidst mourning. Psalm 30:5 promises that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Trust God to turn your mourning into joy.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, draw near to me with Your comforting presence in my mourning season. Grant me strength and peace, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted. Amen.

*Declaration*
In Jesus’ name, I decree and declare that in times of mourning, I find solace in God's comforting embrace, knowing He walks with me through every moment of grief.

*FINDING HOPE IN AFFLICTION*

*Psalm 34:17-18 NKJV*
_‘’The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as [a]have a contrite spirit.’’_

Affliction, often known as pain or trials, is an essential aspect of the human experience. The Bible contains profound insights into the nature of affliction, as well as instructions on how to find hope and strength during tough and painful times. The Bible recognizes that affliction is an unavoidable aspect of existence. According to Job 14:1, "Man who is born of a woman is few in days and full of trouble." Job, Joseph, and the apostle Paul are among those mentioned in Scripture as having experienced affliction. Understanding that affliction is a universal experience provides comfort in knowing that we are not alone in our troubles.

While affliction can be overpowering, the Bible promises us God's presence and comfort. Psalm 34:17-18 states, "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." God promises to be near the suffering, providing strength and comfort in times of hardship.

The Bible teaches that sorrow can result in spiritual growth and character development. In Romans 5:3-4, it is said, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Through adversity, we might acquire resilience, persistence, and a deeper reliance on God, which eventually leads to a stronger faith and hope

Affliction allows us to get closer to God in prayer and seek His counsel. According to Psalm 50:15, "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me." In times of adversity, we are encouraged to turn to God, pour out our emotions to Him, and rely on His faithfulness to bring wisdom, strength, and relief. The Bible reminds us that God can utilize affliction to our ultimate benefit and bring about restoration. 2 Corinthians 4:17 states, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." While affliction may be tough in the current moment, it is through these trials that God molds and shapes us, ultimately leading to our spiritual growth and eternal glory.

Affliction, while challenging, does not have to break our spirits. The Bible teaches us that in times of affliction, we can find hope, strength, and comfort in God's presence. By leaning on Him, we can experience personal growth, draw closer to Him, and accept the promise of restoration. God's love and fidelity continue even in the darkest moments, reassuring us that we are not alone. May we hang on to this hope and find the fortitude to persevere, knowing that God is with us every step of the journey.

*Prayer*
Dear Lord, Help me to rely on you, to find strength in your promises, and to believe in your unwavering love. Guide me through this difficult time, and may your serenity permeate my soul.

*Declaration*
I declare: I am not alone. God's presence sustains me, His love uplifts me, and His promises empower me to endure and emerge stronger.

*LOOK INWARD*

*Mark 7:17-23 KJV*
_“When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”_

The Jews in those days, were more concerned with outward cleanliness and purity. This was the way of life they promoted to the people. They wore good clothes, dressed piously, and maintained an excellent outward appearance. In their belief, what defiles a man comes from outside. This included things such as dirty clothes, unclean foods, and poor physical appearance. However, Jesus exposed them during one of his teachings. In the gospel of Mark, Jesus said “…What comes out of a man, defiles a man.”

What you carry inside influences your life to a great extent. You may wear beautiful clothes and look beautiful outside but when special attention is paid to your inside, it smells of sin and immorality. Jesus said that from within the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication, etc. These are the things that defile a man. These are the things that make you unclean. When they are present inside you, they keep you far away from God.

Uncleanliness is a product of living a sinful life of corruption and immorality. Immoral thoughts pollute your mind and corrupts every good seed in you. The bible says that, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he”. So, if your thoughts are immoral, then you can’t expect to be pure before God. We need to look inward to address the issues of our life. Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” You must make a conscious effort to sanitize your life from sin and immorality. Jesus refers to them as evil things; “All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

People don’t look inward again. They don’t take time to engage in sober reflection of their lives. The trend today is owning the latest phones, cars, accessories, hair, clothes and many more. What God expects from us is total vigilance over our hearts. You need to ensure that Satan doesn’t sow evil seeds in you. These seeds birth evil things that can choke and snuff out your spiritual standing with God. You must always look inward if you want to maintain a pure heart before God. Studying the word of God is compulsory if your life will be pleasing to God. The psalmist said, “your word I have hidden in my heart that I may not sin against you.” Look for a solitary place to hear from God. Seek His word and He will renew your mind. Remember, God searched the deepest parts of hearts and knows our thoughts and intents.

*Prayer*
Father, have mercy on me, give me a pure heart and help me to look into Your Word always. Amen!

*Declaration*
My heart is pure! My heart is not corrupted! My thoughts are the thoughts of the kingdom! My mind is renewed!

*MARRIAGE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING*

*Proverbs 18:22 NKJV*
_‘’He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour from the Lord.’’_

Creation was not complete until Adam got married to Eve. So the marriage of Adam and Eve is the crowning of God's work of creation on earth. And the crown, you know, is often the most beautiful piece in the regalia of a king or a royal personality. Hence, by making marriage His crowning creation, God gave it a premium place in human engagements on earth. Marriage remains the building block of all human societies. Every thriving human society is anchored on marriages that are thriving, functional and productive.

Marriage is a beautiful institution. However, many people’s experiences in, around or with marriage are otherwise. Not because of marriage itself, but because of the people involved. Marriage, they say, takes on the complexion of the people that are in it. That is, good people will translate to good marriages, godly people will translate to godly marriages, and nasty people will translate to nasty marriages. Marriage in itself is not bad in any way; it is the behaviour, character and attitude of the individuals that constitute each marriage that determine the outlook of that marriage.

If someone outside is looking at a particular marriage, for example, and sees that it is not working – for any reason, the person can walk away thinking that marriage itself is a bad thing. That is wrong thinking. One bad marriage, caused by the individuals involved in it, should not define the essence of the marriage institution. That particular marriage is not working because the people operating it are violating the basic tenets of marriage as designed by God. Like most things God ordained, marriage operates by laws, principles and conventions which have predictable outcomes.

Take the law of gravity for example. If you throw something up with your hand, it is natural for it to come down. But when an aircraft takes off, because it is operating on a higher law that is stronger than the law of gravity, it goes up, stays up, and comes down at will. Likewise, there are laws and principles that govern marriage. Any marriage that obeys and adheres to the governing laws will fly above the “gravitational force” that is responsible for crashing a lot of marriages.

A lot of broken marriages crashed because they took off and then switched off the engine of love and mutual respect mid-air, among other governing laws. But marriages that adhere to the laws of love, respect, submission, forgiveness, honour, transparency to one another, selflessness, sacrificial living, mutual cooperation, and willingness to ensure that the marriage works are very beautiful marriages. So, to enjoy your marriage, stop violating the fundamental laws of marriage and start to obey them every day.

*Prayer*
Father, grant me the wisdom and the grace that I need to obey the laws of marriage.

*Declaration*
In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I receive into my heart the wisdom and consciousness to adhere to the laws of marriage, and I receive the grace of God to be a responsive and responsible spouse within my marriage in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Seeing with God’s Eyes*

*Matthew 20:30-34 KJV*
_And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him._

Our eyes are windows to the world. They capture light, translate it into images, and allow us to experience the beauty and complexity around us. Yet, the Bible speaks of a deeper kind of sight: seeing with the eyes of the heart.

In our text, we encounter two blind men near Jericho. As Jesus approaches, they cry out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" Their physical blindness is evident, but their words reveal a deeper yearning – a recognition of Jesus' power and a desperate plea for help.

Jesus stops for them, asking, "What do you want me to do for you?" Their reply is simple yet profound: "Lord, we want to see!" This desire to see transcends their physical limitation. They long to experience Jesus fully, to understand His message, and to be touched by His grace. And moved with compassion, Jesus touches their eyes. Then the miracle: "Their eyes were opened, and they immediately followed him." Their physical sight is restored, but more importantly, their hearts are opened to the truth. They can now see Jesus not just as a man, but as the Messiah, the Son of God.

This story offers a powerful lesson about how God works in our lives. We may not be physically blind, but we all have limitations in our spiritual vision. We get caught up in daily concerns, blinded by prejudice, or struggle to see God's hand in our circumstances. But how do we cultivate the "seeing eyes" in our own lives? First is to ask God to open your eyes, both physically and spiritually. And after your eyes have been opened, you read the Word. The Bible is God's Word. Daily scripture reading helps us understand God's character, His will for our lives, and offers fresh perspective.

Practicing gratitude is also another way, because when we take time to appreciate the beauty and blessings in our lives it opens our hearts to God's presence. When we acknowledge the good, we begin to see His fingerprints everywhere. And finally, look for the needs of others and meet them. When we look beyond ourselves and see the needs of others, we begin to see the world through God's compassionate eyes.

As we cultivate these practices, our spiritual sight begins to improve. We start to see the world not just with our own eyes, but with the eyes of God. We recognize His love and faithfulness in the everyday, and we are empowered to follow Him more closely.

Remember, the journey to "seeing clearly" is a lifelong process. There will be times when doubt clouds our vision and challenges can make us feel lost. Yet, God's promise remains true: "Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! Remember the wonders he has done, his miraculous deeds and judgments” (1 Chronicles 16:11-12). By turning to Him in prayer, immersing ourselves in His Word, and seeing the world through a lens of gratitude and compassion, we can open our eyes to the beauty of God's work in our lives.

*PRAYER*
Dear Lord, open the eyes of my spirit so I'll see clearly.

*DECLARATION*
My eyes are opened and I see the world with the eyes of God.

*BEAUTY FROM ASHES*

*Isaiah 61:3 TLB*
_To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory._

The "Lighthouse," a ministry centre in Rwanda, by its existence, represents redemption. It is situated on grounds where one of the nation’s presidents once possessed an opulent mansion during the 1994 genocide. Years later, a Christian organisation rebuilt this building as a new symbol of hope and light. In addition to a hotel, restaurant, and other community amenities, there is a Bible institute that serves to develop the next generation of Christian leaders in the country. By this, new life has emerged from the ashes, as the people, through the Lighthouse, see Jesus as their sole hope and way to redemption.

On a sabbath day and in a synagogue in Nazareth, Jesus declared that He was the Anointed One to proclaim the favour of the Lord. He did this by reading from the book of Isaiah (Luke 4:14–21). He was the One sent to comfort the grieving and to extend pardon and redemption. Through His sacrifice, He was to reconcile us to God to experience beauty emerging from the ashes (Isa. 61:3). The work of salvation Jesus Christ (the last Adam) accomplished on the cross represents the beauty, while the sinful state of mankind – his doomed fate – represents the ashes.

The Almighty God has, from the beginning, been an expert in transforming ashes into beauty. At creation, He transformed the ashes of formlessness and void into light and life (Gen 1). He changed the life of Rahab – a destiny waster (Josh 2:6; Prov 22:14; 23:27) – to a woman with purpose and a heroine of faith (Heb 11:31; Jam 2:25). Jehovah Beer-lahai-roi converted Saul from a murderer (Acts 7:cool and one against God to an apostle.

The atrocities of the Rwandan genocide, in which over 500,000 lives were lost due to intertribal violence, are so horrific that they defy imagination. Nevertheless, we are confident that the Lord, both in Heaven and on Earth, has atoned for the crimes. That is what redemption is about; a God who transforms ashes into beauty. In the scriptures, we see examples of individuals with lives as bad as any life can be (thieves, murderers, incest, prostitutes), yet the transforming power of redemption saved them. Even in the worst circumstances, we have hope in the One who gives us the oil of gladness rather than sorrow, and beauty instead of ashes. Why not come to Jesus today with your ashes?

*Prayer*
Our hearts ache, Lord Jesus Christ, when we learn of the anguish and suffering that certain people go through. We ask for mercy because we believe Jesus came to give us hope and offer redemption even in the most terrible circumstances. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Declaration*
Because Christ Jesus was cursed for my sake, I declare in the name of Jesus that I am redeemed from all the curses of the law. I have received redemption and therefore I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, Amen.

*Pursuing Purity and Holiness in Christ*

*Matthew 5:28 NIV*
_"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."_

Lust is a powerful temptation that entices and ensnares many individuals, leading them away from God's intended path of purity and holiness. Whether it manifests through impure thoughts, fantasies, or sinful actions, lust can have destructive consequences on our relationships, our spiritual health, and our intimacy with God. However, in Christ, we have the power to conquer lust and pursue a life of righteousness and purity.

The first step in overcoming lust is recognizing its deceitful nature and acknowledging its presence in our lives. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV), we are reminded that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." When we humbly admit our struggles and weaknesses before God, we open ourselves to His grace and strength to resist temptation.

Furthermore, overcoming lust requires a renewal of our minds and hearts through the power of God's Word and the Holy Spirit. In Romans 12:2 (NIV), we are urged, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." By filling our minds with truth, purity, and righteousness, we can counteract the lies and temptations of lust and align our thoughts and desires with God's will.

Cultivating a lifestyle of accountability and transparency is essential in the battle against lust. In James 5:16 (NIV), we are instructed to "confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." We must surround ourselves with trusted friends, mentors, or accountability partners who can offer support, encouragement, and prayer. We can experience the strength and solidarity needed to resist temptation and pursue purity when we learn to be accountable.

Moreover, practicing self-discipline and guarding our hearts and minds against lustful influences are vital components of maintaining purity. In Proverbs 4:23 (NIV), we are admonished to "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." By setting boundaries, avoiding situations or media that trigger lustful thoughts, and focusing our minds on things that are pure, noble, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8 ), we can cultivate a lifestyle of holiness and righteousness.

To rise above lust, we must strive for honesty within our hearts. Tell yourself the truth at all times. You know your level of growth and maturity, stay away from things you cannot control. You might have to take a break from social media, some movies, and things like that. By all means, guard your heart.

Conquering lust is a journey that requires diligence, self-discipline, and reliance on the power of God's Word and the Holy Spirit. By acknowledging our weaknesses, renewing our minds, cultivating accountability, and practicing self-discipline, we can experience victory over lust and pursue a life of purity and holiness in Christ. Let us continue to seek God's strength and grace daily as we strive to honour Him with our thoughts, words, and actions.

*Prayer*
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your strength and grace to overcome the temptations of lust. Fill me with Your Spirit, renew my mind, and guide me on the path of purity and holiness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Declaration*
In Jesus’ name, I decree and declare that I have victory over lust through the power of Christ. I walk in purity and holiness each day. Amen.

*MASTERING SELF-CONTROL: A GUIDE TO SPIRITUAL STRENGTH*

*Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV*
_‘’But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.’’_

*Proverbs 16:32 NKJV*
_‘’He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.’’_

Self-control is like a gift we get from God, through the Holy Spirit. It's super important because it helps us stay strong, even when life gets tough. You see, there's this sneaky guy called the devil who's always trying to trip us up and make us do things we shouldn't. He likes to mess with our feelings and desires, hoping we'll mess up. Think about when Jesus was in the desert for forty days without food. That's when the devil thought he could trick Jesus because he was probably super hungry. But Jesus didn't fall for it. He stayed strong, showing us how self-control can beat temptation.

Being a winner in life means having self-control. It's not just about stopping yourself from doing one thing; it's about being in charge of all parts of your life. That means watching what you say, controlling your desires, and not letting anger or bitterness take over. When we let those negative things control us, it messes with our spirit and makes it hard for good things to happen.

Have you ever said something mean when you're mad and then regretted it later? That's what happens when we don't control our tongue. The Bible says, "Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble" (Proverbs 21:23, ESV). So, it's important to think before we speak, especially when we're upset. Anger is another biggie. When we let anger take over, it can lead to doing things we wish we hadn't. The Bible tells us not to let anger stick around for too long, saying, "Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry" (Ephesians 4:26, NLT). That means we should try to fix things before the day ends, so we don't hold onto grudges.

Being in control of ourselves isn't always easy, but it's super important for our spiritual journey. It's like having a map that guides us through life's twists and turns. Self-control helps us make good choices and stay close to God's plan for us. So, every day, we need to check in with ourselves and make sure we're staying on track. It's not something we set and forget; it's like a daily reminder to be our best selves. And the more we practice self-control, the wiser we become, climbing higher toward the amazing things God has in store for us.

*Prayer*
Father, help me to guide my tongue and keep my anger in check. Take away every form of lust of the flesh and let me fight victoriously to glorify you with my body.

*Declaration*
I have the fruits of the spirit and I live by it. I have self-control and exercise command and full authority over the members of my body. i walk in the consciousness of the Holy Spirit

*YIELD TO GOD*

*Romans 6:13 KJV*
_“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your embers as instruments of righteousness unto God.”_

*2 Chronicles 30:8 KJV*
_“Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.”_

The days that are upon us call us for total dedication to God. The bible says that in the last days, the love of many for God will grow cold. The desires and cravings of the flesh will affect people’s hunger and thirst for righteousness. The Devil knows that he is in a time crunch. So, he is eagerly seeking to devour the lives of Christians with sin and unrighteousness. Paul was speaking on the need to yield our bodies to God and not as instruments of unrighteousness.

You need to pay attention to what you desire and the things you channel your energies too. God expects you to yield yourself totally to him without holding back nothing. A songwriter once wrote a powerful song; “I surrender all to you, withholding nothing…I give myself away.” The need of the hour is people who are willing to surrender their all to God. They are those who have decided to serve the Lord with all their might, strength and soul.

How do you live your life? Is your career path or money more important to you than yielding to God’s will? Certain people believe they can partially yield themselves to God and expect everything to be rosy. No! You are either yielded to righteousness or unrighteousness. There are no middle grounds at all.

The life God wants us to live on earth requires total submission and total commitment to His word, His will, and His Way. Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. If your desires are not matching God’s will, then you are not yielded to Him. The way of the Lord may be narrow and bumpy, but He is faithful and Just to see you through to the end. The bible says in Jonah 2:8, “They that observe lying vanities, forsake their own mercy.” When you don’t yield and submit to God, you take yourself out of His mercies for you. Satan gets free reign of your life. You can only resist the devil when you submit to God.

You may be the most active member in your local church. You may also be the most generous giver to church projects. If you haven’t yielded totally to God, then you are only pleasing yourself, the eyes of men, but not God. Do not be deceived for God can’t be fooled. You are either with Him and for Him a hundred percent or you aren’t. Choose this day to yield totally to God.

*Prayer*
Father! Help me to submit to You all the days of my life.

*Declaration*
I declare, God is my source and my everything. I surrender all to Him. I yield to His will for me. Amen!

*SATAN IS DEFEATED*

*Revelation 12:10-12 NKJV*
_‘’Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.’’_

Through His death, burial and resurrection, Jesus defeated Satan and destroyed all principalities and powers. And by faith in His name, every one of us have become partakers of this victory. By faith, we became one with Him in His death, burial and resurrection when we got baptised in water. Likewise, we became one with Him in His present position of glory at the right hand of the Majesty and Power on high when we were baptised in the Holy Spirit. Therefore, although we are in this world, we are not of this world. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Our citizenship is from above. We have the full rights of citizenship in the kingdom of God. We are not ordinary people. We may be Nigerians, Americans or even French, but immediately we got born-again we were separated unto God. We have now become citizens of the kingdom of heaven.

We must operate with this consciousness to guarantee our continuous victory. That is what we call faith. We must operate on earth like we are in heaven, for indeed we are in heaven. We need to bring that heavenly reality into our material experience. We enjoy the ministry of angels as heavenly citizens. Angels war on our behalf because we don't have what it takes to combat Satan. We are operating far above principalities and powers. We are operating in a realm where Satan can fight but can never prevail.

We must ensure that we don't open the door to Satan by sinning, so that he does not have any ground to occupy in our lives. The victory of Christ has released into our lives supernatural strength and abilities to operate on earth like God. We must understand and take advantage of the blood of Jesus to appropriate this victory that is ours in Christ Jesus and to put Satan where he belongs. The blood of Jesus is the proof of the victory that we have. We should not stop declaring the victory that we have in Christ Jesus. Let the testimony of the blood continuously be in our mouth. We must declare it continuously that Satan is defeated. As we declare it, it becomes our experience. And we must stay continually joyful, for it is by joy that we draw waters from the well of salvation and escape everything the enemy is doing. Satan stands defeated in the lives of those that understand the place of the blood and appropriate it in their lives.

*Prayer*
In the name of Jesus, Father opened my eyes to see and understand the victory that I have in Christ Jesus.

*Declaration*
I decree and declare that I am seated in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers. I overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of my confessions, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

*Holiness: Reflecting God*

*Leviticus 11:44-45 KJV*
_"For I am the Lord your God; be holy therefore, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creeping thing that creeps on the earth. For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God, so be holy, because I am holy."_

The concept of holiness can feel daunting.
Images of saints on pedestals or unattainable perfection might come to mind. But the Bible paints a different picture for us. Holiness, at its core, is about reflecting God's character.

In this passage above from Leviticus, God instructs the Israelites to live holy lives because He Himself is holy. It is not about following a rigid set of rules, but about aligning ourselves with God's character – a character defined by love, justice, and separation from sin. We are called to be set apart, not for our own sake, but to be a reflection of God's light in the world. Just like the moon reflects the sun's brilliance, we are called to reflect God's holiness in our thoughts, words, and actions.

The good news is that holiness is not a destination to be reached through sheer willpower. It is a journey of transformation, fueled by God's grace. We are reminded in Romans 12:2 that we are not to be conformed to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. This transformation involves:
Surrender. Recognizing our shortcomings and surrendering our lives to God's will.

Renewal. Here, we are allowing the Holy Spirit to cleanse our hearts and minds from negativity and sin.
Growth. This growth comes by daily seeking God's guidance and actively pursuing a life that reflects His character.

Holiness doesn't require extraordinary feats. It's about incorporating God's principles into our daily lives. Principles like;
Honesty and Integrity: Dealing with others in a truthful and fair manner.
Kindness and Compassion: Extending love and support to those in need.

Forgiveness: Letting go of resentment and offering grace, just as God has forgiven us.
Stewardship: Taking care of ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

As we walk this path of holiness, we may stumble along the way. But God's grace is always available, offering forgiveness and the strength to get back on track.

Holiness is a journey of becoming more like Christ, one step at a time. So today, reflect on a specific area in your life where you can strive to live more holy. How can you actively seek God's guidance and strength today?

*PRAYER*
Father, I recognize my imperfections and humbly come before You seeking Your transforming grace. Help me to surrender to Your will, renew my mind according to Your Word, and reflect Your light in the world. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*DECLARATION*
My life is a reflection of God to my world. I reflect God in everything I do. Hallelujah!

*HEARING THE HOLY SPIRIT*

*Psalm 27:14 TLB*
_Don’t be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you._

A story was told about a group of ice workers in the Northern parts of America. While removing ice from a frozen lake and putting it in an icehouse, one of them realised he had left his watch inside the windowless structure. He looked for it in vain, as did his friends and colleagues. Once they gave up, a young boy child who had witnessed their departure entered the building. He soon reappeared holding the watch. “I simply sat down and kept quiet, and soon I could hear it ticking,” he said in response to a question about how he had discovered it.

Often, believers, like the parable of the seed that fell among the thorns (Matt. 13:3-23), allow the voices of the cares of this world and the longing for money to drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit, which leads to foolishness and unfruitfulness.

The importance of stillness is emphasised throughout the Bible. It makes sense because, as 1 Kings 19:12 reveals, God occasionally talks in whispers. It can be challenging to hear Him amid life's chaos. However, we might be able to hear His soft voice in our minds and hearts if we put an end to our hurry and spend some peaceful time with Him and the Bible.

One outcome in the life of a believer who has trained themselves to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit is wisdom and fruitfulness. The reason why we need to be still and hear from the Holy Spirit is because that is how we are helped by God, by giving us wisdom which makes us fruitful. Jesus did the same when he prayed in the garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:43). It was at the point of praying and listening that the angel strengthened Him for the task ahead. God will deliver us from the "wicked schemes" of wicked people, provide us with safety, and assist us in remaining faithful, according to Psalm 37:1–7. But with chaos all around us, how can we accomplish this? "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him," verse 7 advises.

Like the little boy in the above story, sitting down and keeping quiet to hear the ticking watch, means learning to be quiet for a little while after prayer. Alternatively, we can read the Bible in silence and allow the words to seep into our hearts. In doing this, we hear His calm, steady wisdom speaking to us.

*Prayer*
Dear God, please give me self-control and endurance to sit still for a time every day so that I can hear Your whisper in my spiritual ears, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare in the name of Jesus that I wait patiently on the Lord and I hear the Holy Spirit, therefore I become brave, stout-hearted and courageous in life, Amen.

*The Hope-Filled Mind: An Anchor in the Storm*

*Hebrews 6:18-19 KJV*
_That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil._

Life can be a tempestuous sea. We face storms of disappointment, loss, and uncertainty. These trials can leave us feeling lost, adrift, and devoid of hope. But in the midst of these hardships, the Bible offers a powerful anchor – the unwavering promise of hope.
In Heb 6:19 (NIV), we find a beautiful verse that speaks to this very idea: “We have this Hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." The author compares hope to an anchor, a vital tool that keeps a ship from being tossed and broken by the waves. This means hope is a symbol of stability and security in the face of the unknown.

This hope isn't based on wishful thinking or fleeting optimism. It's grounded in the unwavering faithfulness of God; that He can be trusted to keep His promises. The Bible is filled with stories that illustrate the power of hope. Take David, the shepherd boy who faced the mighty Goliath. Despite the odds against him, David clung to his faith in God. He knew that God wouldn't abandon him and that victory was possible. His hope fueled his courage and led him to triumph (1 Sam 17).

Similarly, we find hope in the story of Job. He endured unimaginable suffering – the loss of his possessions, his children, and his health. Yet, amidst this despair, Job refused to give up hope in God. He declared, "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, though my body is wrecked, yet I will see God!" (Job 19:25-26).
These stories remind us that hope isn't the absence of struggles. It's the unwavering belief that even in the darkest moments, God is with us. It's the assurance that even when things seem hopeless, there's a brighter future waiting. A mind that is hopeful is one that the Spirit of God can brood over. It's one that faith can stand on. So, how do we cultivate this kind of hope in our daily lives?

Ground yourself in the scriptures: Immerse yourself in the Bible's message of hope, find verses that resonate with your current situation.
Practice gratitude: Take time each day to reflect on the blessings in your life, no matter how small. Gratitude fosters a sense of optimism and hope.
Connect with your community: Surround yourself with people of faith who can lift you up and offer support during difficult times.

Focus on what you can control: While we can't control the circumstances around us, we can control our response. Choose to focus on the things you can influence, and trust God with the rest.

Hope is a gift from God, a powerful tool that helps us navigate through the storms of life. When we hold fast to this hope in God and His faithfulness, we find the strength to persevere, the courage to face challenges, and the faith to believe in a brighter tomorrow. Remember, God is faithful, and His promises are true. Don't let your hope be lost in the waves of life. God can be trusted!

*PRAYER*
Father, help me to trust You in every circumstance I find myself. I choose to be hopeful, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*DECLARATION*
I have hope. My hope is in God and His unwavering faithfulness, so even when things seem hopeless, I know there's a brighter future waiting for me. Hallelujah!

*THE ULTIMATE COMFORT: FINDING SOLACE IN THE BIBLE*

*‭Romans 15:4 NKJV‬*
_‘’For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.’’_.

In times of distress, andcomfort becomes a precious refuge. The Bible offers profound insights into the nature of comfort and provides powerful verses that can soothe our troubled hearts and bring us solace amidst life's challenges. Let us explore the comfort the Bible offers and discover the reassurance it provides in moments of hardship.

1. God as the Source of Comfort:
In the Bible, God is portrayed as the ultimate source of comfort. Psalm 119:50 affirms, "This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life." Through Scripture, we find solace in God's promises, knowing that His unfailing love and faithfulness will sustain us during difficult times.

2. The Comfort of God's Presence:
The Bible assures us of God's abiding presence, which provides comfort even in the midst of trials. Psalm 23:4 beautifully declares, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Knowing that God walks alongside us, guiding and protecting us, brings unparalleled comfort and reassurance.

3. The Comfort of Divine Strength:
In times of weakness, the Bible offers the promise of divine strength and comfort. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." God's strength sustains us, lifting us up when we feel like we are about to fall, and providing the comfort we need to face our challenges.

4. The Comfort of God's Word:
The Scriptures are a wellspring of comfort, offering timeless wisdom, encouragement, and solace in times of distress. Romans 15:4 states, "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." When we turn to the Bible, we find words of hope and understanding that bring comfort to our troubled souls.

5. The Comfort of God's Love:
Above all, the Bible teaches us about the unfailing love of God, which brings us lasting comfort and peace. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, it states, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction." God's love is a comforting embrace that soothes our sorrows and envelops us in His arms of compassion.

In moments of distress, we can find solace and comfort in the pages of the Bible. Through its verses, we are reminded of God's steadfast presence, His abounding love, and His promises of strength and deliverance. May we turn to the Scriptures, seeking the comfort it imparts, and find solace in knowing that we are never alone. Open your heart to the comforting words of the Bible, and let its truths guide you through life's trials, bringing you the comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.

*Prayer*
Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for the comfort your Word brings. In times of distress, guide me to find refuge in your promises and strength in your presence. Let your Word illuminate my path and fill my heart with peace. Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare that in times of trouble, I will seek comfort in God's Word. His promises will sustain me, His presence will strengthen me, and His love will envelop me. I am secure in His care, and His Word will be my refuge and strength.

*TRUST AND OBEY*

*Proverbs 3:5 KJV*
_“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”_

*Isaiah 50:10 KJV*
_“Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD And rely upon his God.”_

Trust requires placing complete faith in somebody, something, an idea, or a belief. It is a firm belief which is built on relationship, reliability, and truth. Any relationship that lacks trust can never last long. God expects us to put our total trust in Him. Our God is a dependable Father who has proven His love to us. God wants His children to believe in His word beyond anything. He has given us the best assurance that He can never leave nor forsake us. He is faithful and just to do all He has promised us. All that He requires from us is to trust and obey Him.

The chorus of the popular Hymn written by John H. Sammis sums it all, “Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” Obeying God’s word proves that you trust Him, you believe in Him and love Him unconditionally. God considers obedience a very vital requirement in our relationship with Him. If you love Him, you must trust Him and if you trust Him, you must obey His words. Jesus said, “if you love me, keep my commandments...” Trusting God must be your lifestyle if you want to advance your relationship with Him.

Today, people trust and believe the words of experts or professionals more than God’s word. They depend more on their academic qualifications, business acumen and technical skills than what God told them. When you trust God's words for your life, He becomes a lamp to your feet and light to your path. God’s word in you will shine through any darkness when you trust and obey Him. Life will throw a lot of temptations that seek to question your faith and trust in God. These temptations want you to doubt God, abandon Him for other alternatives and ultimately disobey Him.

Rely on God to sustain you. Hold unto His word and see him work wonders in your life. God will draw near to you if you draw near to Him. That doctor’s report is not greater than God’s covenant of divine health for you. The economic meltdown does not invalidate God’s covenant of prosperity for you. He wants you to acknowledge Him in your life today and see Him direct your path. He will open doors to the nation for you. He will put you in the minds of important people who will change your story. Remember, those that put their trust in Him will not be ashamed.

*Prayer*
Father, help me to trust Your Word. Take away every spirit of disobedience in me and lead by Your hand in the paths of righteousness. Amen!

*Declaration*
I put my trust in God. I obey His words. I will not be put to shame. My enemies will not triumph over me.

*KNOWLEDGE FOR PROFIT*

*Proverbs 24:3-5 NLT*
_‘’A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables. The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.’’_

Wisdom gives you an edge, while understanding gives you root. Knowledge produces massive riches and uncommon results in the marketplace. You see, it's not enough to start a business, and it’s not enough for the business to have an office, the business must generate income and revenue for the owner and stakeholders. The same thing with the church; it is one thing to start a church, it's another thing to generate results. What makes the difference is your depth and appropriation of right knowledge. Knowledge is what brings profit and riches in any venture. People pay a premium for knowledge. People pay a premium for quality information. And conversely, ignorant people pay highly for their ignorance. The better you know, the more you stand to gain in the marketplace.

What you see and how you see in the marketplace are very vital, and both qualities are connected to the acquisition and application of knowledge. This, in fact, is what makes the difference between success and failure. Quality knowledge makes a man see things that others are blind to, and that gives him an edge over them. Micheal Angelo said, “I saw the angel in the marble and carved it until I set him free.”

Knowledge in your soul is like a telescope. It will make you see farther. It will make you see better. It will make you see the things others don't see, and that is what – by diligent application – will translate to profit for you. Knowledge in your spirit guides you, steadies you, and strengthens your hands to work. The smart man of today operates by combining both the resources that eyes can see and those that eyes can't see. This ability, being uncommon, is what gives high achievers their seemingly undue advantage. In fact, the more intangible a resource is, the more profitable it likely is. For example, the biggest supermarket, as it were, in the world is Amazon, and they have no physical store anywhere; their operation is strictly online.

So, knowledge is becoming more prominent, more simplified, more accessible, and more profitable in today’s world. We are living in the days of swift, smart and convenient. Swift, smart and convenient are the values driving the wheel of commerce across the world today. Hence, knowledge is a high value resource in today’s marketplace, and those who have and demonstrate more of it are ruling over those with less demonstrable knowledge. This is the information age; information produced by inspiration, perspiration and/or revelation. The strength of any nation or corporation is firmly rooted in superior information. The profit of the earth is for all, but those who can garner and apply superior knowledge to make life faster, smarter, and more convenient for others are the ones who will prosper. The kings in your field are ahead of you because of the application of superior knowledge and information. Go for superior knowledge.

*Prayer*
Father, in the name of Jesus, establishes my heart in wisdom and helps me to walk in understanding and knowledge all the days of my life. Amen.

*Declaration*
In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I walk in power, I walk in knowledge, my eyes see, my ears hear, I prosper, I produce uncommon results by the help of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

*Finding Stillness*

*Psalm 46:10 KJV*
_"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”_

In our fast-paced world, filled with constant stimulation and overflowing to-do lists, the concept of meditation can feel foreign. Yet, the Bible encourages us to cultivate stillness and quiet reflection. Psalm 46 paints a picture of chaos and uncertainty. The psalmist describes "an uproar of nations" and "kingdoms falling." Yet, amidst the turmoil, God offers a powerful antidote: stillness. "Be still," He commands. This stillness isn't about physical inactivity, but about quieting our inner anxieties and focusing our attention on Him. Just as a camera needs a steady hand to capture a clear image, our minds need stillness to truly connect with God. When we slow down, we create space to hear His voice, to understand His will, and to experience His peace.

The Bible offers numerous examples of people who practiced meditation. King David, a warrior-king, found solace in reflecting on God's works: "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?" (Psalm 8:3-4). The practice of meditation wasn't limited to kings and poets, however. Joshua, tasked with leading the Israelites into the Promised Land, was instructed by God: "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it both day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be successful and prosperous" (Joshua 1:cool.

Meditation on God's Word was a cornerstone of spiritual growth for Joshua, reminding him of God's promises and empowering him to lead with wisdom. The benefits of meditation extend far beyond simply calming our minds. It deepens our connection with God. By quieting external noise, we create space to hear God's voice speaking to our hearts. It Increases focus. Meditation trains our minds to be less scattered, allowing us to focus on prayer, scripture reading, and serving others. It also reduces stress and anxiety. Stillness allows us to acknowledge and release worries, fostering a sense of inner peace. As well, it enhances self-awareness. As we quiet our minds, we gain a clearer understanding of our thoughts, emotions, and motivations.

Meditation doesn't require fancy rituals or special equipment. Just find a quiet space, a place free from distractions, where you can sit or lie comfortably. Set a timer. Begin with short sessions, 5-10 minutes, and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable. Take slow, deep breaths to help quiet your mind. Inevitably, thoughts will arise. Acknowledge them gently, and then return your focus to your breath, while reflecting on a scripture. You can choose a verse that resonates with you and meditate on its meaning.
Meditation is a journey, not a destination. There will be days when your mind feels particularly restless. Be patient with yourself and keep practicing. As we incorporate meditation into our daily lives, we cultivate a harbor for God's presence and guidance. In the quiet moments, we can truly connect with Him, experience His peace, and find the strength to navigate the uncertainties of life. So, take a deep breath, find a quiet corner, and allow yourself to be still. You might be surprised by what you discover.

*PRAYER*
Lord, help me to be still and focused on You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*DECLARATION*
I will be still, because I know that God is working things out for my good.

*THE FIRST STEPS OF WORSHIP*

*Psalm 46:10 TLB*
_“Stand silent! Know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation in the world!”_

When the Bible talks about nations, it is referring to every individual born of a woman (see Gen 9:19; 25:23). One of the duties of every man, especially those of us called God's children (1 John 3:2), is to worship the awesome God.

As a young Christian, it was a challenge when it came to worship. I used to wonder what people who worshipped for hours said to God, because no matter how hard I tried then, in 5 minutes I was done worshipping, especially during prayer. I prayed a simple prayer asking God to help me see how to worship Him from the scriptures. The Holy Spirit in answer to my prayer opened my eyes to bible worship.

He taught me that I can worship God by;
Meditating on His attributes:
Faithful (Psa 46:1 – tested help), Eternal (Psa 46:1 – refuge), All-knowing (Psa 147:5), Just (Psa 37:3-4), Unchangeable (Heb 7:24), Gracious (Deu 28: 8 ), Holy (Lev 11:44), Merciful (Psa 57:10), Longsuffering (2Pet 3:9), Impartial (Psa 57:3), Infinite (Isa 9:7).

Meditating on God’s attribute simply means to focus your mind on God’s quality that is an inherent part of who He is for the period of your prayer or singing.

Meditate on His qualities:
All-powerful (Job 5:19), Almighty (Psa 89:6-7. ), Personal (1 Jhn 3:1 ), Righteous (Psa 89:14), Unsearchable, Wise, Triune, Accessible, Self-existent, Glorious, Compassionate (Psa 34:4).

Contemplating His name(s):
Creator (Psa 89:11 ), Love (Rom 5:8 ), Redeemer, Shepherd (Psa 34:7 ), Saviour (Job 5:20. ), Lord (Psa 89:5 ), Father (John 20:17 ), Judge, Comforter, Teacher, I AM, Mighty One (Psa 89:8 ).

Contemplating God's names simply means to look thoughtfully and think deeply for a long time on your life’s experiences, for those moments God showed up for you in a dimension that explains Himself while you are singing or praying.

Dwelling on His identity:
Shield (Psa 89:18 ), Stronghold, Light (John 1:4 ), Strength (Psa 89:10 ), Sustainer (Psa 89:16-17 ), Rescuer (Psa 57:6. ), Fortress (Psa 89:13 ).

Dwelling on God’s identity simply means to stay with, talk of, and write at length of the characteristics that make God who He is for the period of your prayer or singing.

Note that meditation, contemplation and dwelling all have one thing in common; they are activities requiring a significant length of time to execute. This is what Psalm 46:1 means when it says “…I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth.” I charge you this morning and onwards to make it your way of life to exalt God.

*Prayer*
Dear God, make me a true worshipper. Help me to always meditate on Your attributes and qualities, to contemplate Your names, and to dwell on Your identity as I worship, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare in the name of Jesus that I exalt the Lord my God as long as I live. Amen.

*All Sufficient Grace*

*³³2 Corinthians 9:6-9 NKJV*
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work…”

Welcome to the glorious month of June, 2024. The hand of God is strong upon us, and His intentions for this church in this season are clear. As the rain begins, we recognize that it is the season for sowing. For as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will not cease. When the heavens pour rain on us, it signals that heaven expects us to start sowing massively. Heaven’s call to sow signifies a massive harvest in God’s mind that our sowing will trigger in our lives.

Many people make the mistake of acknowledging God’s plans and hearing the sound of abundant rain, yet they fail to take responsibility. They don’t realize they have a role to play before heaven’s will can manifest in their space. We all know the story of Elijah: he heard from heaven that rain was coming, and he prayed it down. In our case, the rain is already here, and it’s time to start sowing.

Scripture outlines two ways to sow seeds: sparingly or bountifully. When you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly. When you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully. Let us ready our hearts, clear our minds, and purposefully decide to sow not grudgingly or out of necessity, but because heaven desires it. Giving should be done bountifully and cheerfully, without grumbling or compulsion. God loves a joyful giver, and the joy comes from knowing the blessings that await on the other side of sowing.

When we sow the right seeds with joy, we activate God’s ability. A wise man once said you don’t plant corn because the ground is hungry or to meet the earth’s need; you sow because of the harvest you desire. When sowing is done rightly, God is able to make all grace abound toward us. There is a level of grace God wants to release upon His body right now, activated by our seeds.

The seed to sow in this case is the seed of charity, giving to the poor. Scripture states, "He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor, and his righteousness endures forever." I have always maintained that giving to the poor is paramount to God. Jesus will judge us based on how we treat the poor. The massive grace God wants to release will be triggered by our strategic, deliberate, bountiful, and cheerful giving to those in need—particularly widows, orphans, the sick, and the homeless.

As a church, we must go all out this month to meet the needs of those around us. This is how we tap into God’s grace and achieve all sufficiency in all things. We often pray for our hands to be sufficient for us. Your hand becomes sufficient when it extends as God’s hand in the lives of those in need. Enter this month with the spirit of giving, knowing that giving is living, especially to the poor and vulnerable.

Once you do this, heaven will release grace upon your life, and you will have all you need to meet your needs and do all the good works in your heart. Once again, welcome to June. Welcome to your month of all-sufficient grace.

*Prayer*
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, multiply the giving grace upon my life.

*Declaration*
I declare that June 2024 opens to me in glory, color, splendor, and uncommon grace. I am in the season of all grace and sufficiency.
