I think the best solution to this power sector is to go nuclear. That should have been our target all along. I know people will say what if terrorists hijack our nuclear facilities? Well if the likes of Pakistan can have two nuclear power plants....I don't think we have any excuse if we truly want to solve the problems in the power sector. Do we have more terrorist than Pakistan? With the current wage of workers in the country, I've noticed that there are "no willing buyers even when the electricity is available. A typical example is my Estate, there's light but everywhere is mortuary darkness. 3 Likes |

It's now certain to me that this man was appointed to give excuses as to why the power sector cannot work. Everyday he is always in the new making one excuse after another why the nation is in darkness. He doesn't seem to know what he is doing neither does he have any solutions to the lingering darkness. Who are the selfish people if not for politicians and the acolytes who have vested interests? 1 Like |

dre11: Look! Nigeria seems jinxed by the APC. Not being pessimistic but truth is, until and unless Nigeria is restructured, these bomboclats will keep getting into office, sing the same singsong, spend years, loot as much as possible and get out. As far as the status quo remains, nothing good will come out of these rogues. 2 Likes |

There is no steady and consistency supply, and there are no willing, able and capable buyers. We need to fix minimum wage at 1million Naira, and force every other expenses from other sectors to maintain their current price which is absolutely not possible because they also approach the same market like everybody else. The moment government increase minimum wage to 70k, every market and consumer goods will jump up too. Transport fares will go up. Electricity bill will go up as well and produce a cascading effects of every other products. I'm still thinking of the solution to this our problems. We have plenty professors, economist and academicians in this country, but they cannot come up with solutions to our problems. 1 Like |
