Employee Experience Alert: Beware Of Dubious Practices At Leonessa Foods by steve10(m): 2:13pm On May 03
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some updates and concerns regarding my recent work experience .

I work as a sales executive an FMCg company I. North west . Due to financial constraints, I expressed my concerns to my area sales manager before his relocation and sought assistance in finding a better-paying job. He graciously offered to help and even assisted in revamping my CV.

After some time, I received an offer for a sales managerial role with a company in Kano, owned by a Lebanese family. The role offered a significant salary increase from 60k I was earning to 120k  and I was excited to accept the opportunity.

However, upon starting the job, I encountered several challenges and red flags that have led me to reconsider my position.

The company's management practices, as reported by former employees, raised doubts about its integrity and stability. Additionally, the lack of distributor incentives and pricing strategies hindered our competitiveness in the market. Despite my efforts to suggest improvements, my concerns were dismissed by the general manager.

the market perception of our product, Veging, as more expensive than competitors due to packaging discrepancies, posed additional challenges. Despite my attempts to explain the differences to the general manager, my suggestions were ignored, and I struggled to meet sales targets.

After two months of struggling and receiving promises of payment in stock instead of salary, I was terminated without proper compensation. The company's practices and treatment of employees have left me disheartened and financially strained.

I am sharing my story to raise awareness about the challenges faced by sales personnel in certain companies, such as Leonessa Foods and Agro Allied Industries.  The company is based in Kano

I hope that by sharing my experience, others can learn to be cautious when considering employment opportunities.
