INCIDENT SUMMARY:

The principal of Uhonmora Secondary School Mr. Adefemi Adewale has been arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police Force, Sabongidda-Ora, Owan West LGA, for alleged embezzlement of student WAEC fees for the second time. Despite being pardoned by parents last year after a similar incident, the principal allegedly repeated same offense, failing to enroll students for the WAEC exams, which have already started, the parents and students are seeking intervention of the Edo State Ministry of Education and the Edo State Government.

CURRENT STATUS:
- The principal is currently detained by the Nigeria Police, Sabongidda-Ora, Owan West LGA, for further investigation.
- Students are yet to be enrolled for the WAEC exams, causing uncertainty about their academic future.

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:

- The Edo State Ministry of Education and the Edo State Government should investigate this incident and take appropriate action against the principal if found guilty.
