John 13:31-32; {Message Bible}
31] When he had left, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man is seen for who he is, and God seen for who he is in him. The moment God is seen in him,
32] God's glory will be on display. In glorifying him, he himself is glorified - glory all around!

Glory is a two way thing.
The altar must LOVE and yield to the heat of the fire for it to be relevant.

Let’s look at it another way.

Does a lamp holder attract any attention? No!

But the same lamp holder that has no attraction of its own, when a bulb is fixed and lit up, it suddenly becomes the center of beauty upon which the glory of the house is seated.

The relevance of the lamp holder depends on three things;
1. its ability to bear the weight of the bulb,
2. its willingness to remain connected to the power source and
3. its subjection to the heat generated by the light rays whenever the bulb is on.

Jesus Christ, our hope of glory said in verses 31 above; “Now the Son of Man is seen for who he is, and God seen for who he is in him.”

It is only when the bulb is lit up, that both the bulb and the lamp holder can be seen in their true nature.
