Don’t be miseducated by this platform.

Professionals or employees can be liable. Agents of the shareholders can be held liable. Even in Enron, a former president of McKinsey was imprisoned.
If you are a party to illegality, you are liable.

It’s ridiculous to compare this with intimidating or arresting associates of a criminal. If you work in an organization that engages in criminal activities, and you say ‘I am only a professional accountant in charge of their finance’ your professional body will withdraw your license and you will go to jail. If you are a marketer of a pharmaceutical drug that you know is dangerous and fake, you will also be culpable. You can’t just ‘I am only an employee.”

Even primary school students know this, but in a bid to diminish the effort of our regulatory agencies, people’s brains go out of service.

Even on live TV programs u will see someone that claim well versed in cryptocurrency that u expect to fully convince you the working mechanisms of crypto and service they render to earn them that money, almost all I have had opportunity to ask or watch talk have not in a way convince anyone what services they render to earn them that big money reason most people say crypto money is greed related.just in February Bloomberg covered a US judge awarding 4.2billion dollar fine against Binance in a plea bargain they had with the court

Ignorance is a disease. You'll never know how high your level of ignorance is till you talk to a secondary school dropout from Ghana and discover that he's way more intelligent than you.

Use Google and YouTube. Go ask questions there. Read and watch videos to educate yourself. Stop waiting for government propaganda machine to spoon-feed you with information. You're not a robot. Use your brain

It's four months in America, by a country who understands the limits of law. If Nigeria were to set that precedence, the judge will probably declare 20 years jail term for the Finance founder

No wonder this thread is struggling to go beyond 2 pages.

Take over and Control of the cryptocurrency space by the globalists are the hidden agenda for the New World Economic Order and the CBDC. The issues are beyond any person or any country. Excuses must be found to justify take over.

A regional manager is not liable. This is why the extradition will never work.

If Nigerian government has anything against Binance, they should hold the CE0/founder responsible.

It is the foolish mindset of arresting a close relative because the police could not locate the suspect that have beclouded the reasoning of EFCC, FIRS and others pursuing this case. This mindset won't work in other countries.
See, if the police come for you and you hide, they will take your wife

Only a government propaganda zombié keeps repeating everything you have written above.

1. Binance was not accused of directly laundering money.

2. Binance was accused of not putting strick measures in place to prevent money launderers from using their platform.

3. Two above is just a smokescreen to punish Binance and limit their growth because they perceive Binance to be affiliated with Chinese government and the US hates China.

4. Ask yourself why USA has not sued and fined the US and European banks that helped Abacha and many other politicians in Nigeria launder billions of dollars from Nigeria to their country and elsewhere.

5. Ask yourself how many bank executives have been jailed for allowing their banks to be used to launder money and finance terrorism in Nigeria.

6. Crypto technology has very wide application. A very good and common example is in the area of decentralised finance. With crypto DEFI technology you can lend, borrow and carry out most transactions you would in a traditional bank without the need of a third party (bank).

7. With DEFI you can earn better rewards (interest or yields) on your money because there's no third party involved... there's no bank employing people and incurring overhead costs that they then transfer to people using their services....no bank fees, no unnecessary debit alerts.

8. Crypto technology, decentralised finance (DEFI), is in direct competition with traditional finance, the normal bank that you know, and even the central banks that keep printing trillions of currency which leads to inflation and devaluation of the currency like Nigeria is experiencing.

9. Because of 8 above, central banks and traditional finance (banks) hate crypto and all it stands for (which is freedom from government control and oppression).

10. If you read all ten points above and you still have no clue what crypto can do or the benefit then just know that you're a certified government propaganda zombié and nothing can cure your ignorance.

Cheers

I will not mention your moniker so that you would not start to feel important. Just to tell you how naive, stupid and ignorant you are.

atleast I talk little sense for ur head reason u answered the very question I asked abnitio though in a distorted manner and am just ok I taught someone little sense today on how to be matured and calm on social media.I like the 3rd point you raised sha and china will do just the same if opportuned.they are just bn loyal to there country unlike many Nigerians that aren't loyal .i raised a honest concern or question base on what I have bn reading on blogs or do u expect someone to see a plea bargain of 4billion plus dollar deal and also now seeing the CEO of Binance holding bn jail and will not ask a honest question about Binance. grin cheers
If the Nigeria govt just like the US can able to convince a competent court of how Binance holding allowed political class and some other criminals including terrorist group launder cash through Binance they too should go ahead and do the needful.
