This is just you deciding what your contents will be based on. For example, my niche is in finance. Yours can be in sport where you write about messi and ronaldo or latest news in sports.

- Research popular topics and trends in your niche: For example in sport, we are in the champions league season, so you can find a topic in this regards to write on. Or If your niche is in relationship, then you can write about "how to have an everlasting marriage". These are trending topics.

- Define your target audience and their needs
You have to know who your potential readers are. For example, I knew my audience on nairaland are in the business section, and that's why I posted this here. So you have to know who your audience are, and where to find them.

Step 2: Set Up Your Online Presence

How do you set up your online presence? And why?
- Create a professional website or blog (I'll make a tutorial on this and post it to the webmaster section). You should follow me to get notified.

- Choose a user-friendly platform (e.g., WordPress, WIX)

- Register social media accounts (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)

Now the reason for setting up your online presence is because you need people to read your contents amd engage. Right?

Step 3: Develop Your Content Strategy

- Plan your content types (e.g., articles, videos, podcasts or combination of the 3). Content creation is not about writing and writing. You can base your own contents about podcasts or video.

- Define your tone, style, and voice
- Create an editorial calendar or content schedule

Step 4: Produce High-Quality Content

- Research and write engaging, informative articles
- Invest in good camera equipment for videos or photography
- Edit and optimize your content for SEO

Step 5: Build Your Audience

- Engage with your audience through comments and social media
- Collaborate with other content creators or influencers
- Promote your content through email newsletters or paid advertising

Step 6: Consistency and Persistence

- Regularly post new content to keep your audience engaged
- Continuously improve your craft through learning and feedback
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

- Explore revenue streams (e.g., advertising, sponsorships, affiliate marketing or selling personal products)
