YESHUA HAMASHIACH OR “JESUS CHRIST”? WHAT’S IN A NAME!

Does a person’s name matter? If your answer is no, which I hope not, then you would have to figure out why the slave master changes the names of his slaves. But, before we go to discuss why it matters that the TRUE name of the Son of GOD while He was on earth, be used by Black folk, let us first remember what He looked like. Many of us had been led to believe that the appearance of the Son of GOD is unknown or does not matter, so Europeans just drew Him in their own image and made Him look like one of them. However, the Son of GOD is actually described in Holy Scripture, in both the Books of Daniel and Revelation so His appearance actually does matter. We therefore know for sure that His hair is white and woolly texture, His exposed feet and arms are burnished bronze, thus a warm and shiny brown skin colour. When Black people want to tell their children what the Son of GOD looks like, that is how they should do so. Plus, that is how He should be painted or represented, so that He would look more genuine and true to His identity as described in Scripture. Furthermore, the Creation record states that GOD said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” No doubt the first two humans Adam and Eve were Africans, confirmed in Jeremiah 13:23 when GOD goes straight to the original man as He had created him by asking, “Can an Ethiopian change his skin?” So Africans, being the original man, look most like the Son of GOD.

Let’s now turn to the name of the Son of GOD. He came to earth as a Jew. “Jesus Christ” is a European invention, it is Greek. Europeans could have kept the original Jewish name for the Son of GOD but they wanted a European deity for themselves and despite His genealogy fully described in the Bible, they Europeanized Him. The question now is, should Black people copy Europeans and carry on with a lie, or should we go for the TRUE Name of the Son of GOD?

Let’s think. Much harm has been inflicted upon Black people under the name of the Europeans’ “Jesus Christ” for instance, going even as far as in 1562 having a slave ship the Jesus of Lübeck which its chief merchant John Hawkins, laughingly called “The Good Ship Jesus” that was involved in the barbaric trade and torture of Africans in the captivity of chattel slavery. Hawkins was a keen follower of the blue-eyed, blond-haired “Jesus Christ”. In fact, the diabolical Doctrine of Discovery and Slave Laws of America and the Caribbean were devised by followers of the European “Jesus Christ”. The Dred Scott ruling described in a nutshell the environment created by those who believed in the blue-eyed blond-haired “Jesus Christ” which is that: The Black man has no rights that a White man is bound to respect. That is quite opposite and different from what the Son of GOD in Scripture says. He said that His own followers would seek to do to others as they would want done to them.

The Son of GOD of Scripture is obviously nothing at all like the White Jesus Christ of Europeans (and of White Supremacy). If truth means anything, Black people ought to use the Name that His Hebrew people called Him, and He was called Yeshua Hamashiach (where Yeshua means Salvation, and Hamashiach is Messiah). He is bronze brown-skinned and has woolly white hair. In the Igbo language, the followers of the Son of GOD were called Ndi Ozioma, the bringers of Good News. Master Yeshua brings Good News (not terrorism and racism), and is the God of Liberation from the oppressor, while the White “Jesus Christ” stands for Supremacy, Empire, Enslavement, Colonisation, Genocide and Land Robbery. A name distinguishes one person from another, and one character from another, and one spirit from another.

Many people globally have done good acts in the name of “Jesus Christ”, no denying that. But there is such a thing as False Charity too. As a free people, our REFERENCE POINT especially on all important matters, should not be what another community chooses to do, it should be a Reference Point that comes from we ourselves. This should be an active discussion among Black people worldwide. Let us embark on it in the spirit of Truth and global harmony. Yeshua Hamashiach is the true Hebrew name for the Son of GOD, a brown-skinned GOD-Man.

You typed all this trash just to make us know that you now know the religion better than the Portuguese slave traders who brought the religion to Nigeria.

Who cares about whatever the son of their god is called. You think all Africans are like you who reads that silly book they left behind for African fools like you.

No true African will proudly practice the religion of the men who came to our lands to buy our mothers, our fathers, our wives, our husbands and children.

What do you even know about the religion of your own fathers, the religion of your own people that was demonized by the Portuguese slave traders?

The same ship that brought the missionaries took back slaves.
