Take your madness elsewhere, Anambra is peaceful, Obigwe tells NLC President

The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has taken a swipe at the National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC) for calling out the state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo in a viral video.

Recall that in a letter on Wednesday, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union of Nigeria (TUC) issued a seven-day strike notice to Soludo over his refusal to fully implement the 2019 minimum wage policy.

The organized labour also faulted the Soludo-led administration for the “inefficient running of the state’s contributory pension scheme and the non-constitution of civil and judiciary service commissions", among others

Reacting to development on Saturday in a statement, Obigwe said unfolding events had clearly shown that Ajaero was being used to play a politically motivated script in Anambra State.

Obigwe asked Ajaero to take what he called his( Ajaero's) madness elsewhere, stating that Anambra workers were happy and comfortable with Soludo.

Obigwe's statement read partly,"He( Ajaero) started by fabricating lies against Governor Soludo by claiming in a viral AIT video interview that Governor Soludo is harassing Governors that accepted to pay 70 thousand naira minimum wage. This is a lie from the pit of hell.

"The welfare of workers is among the priorities of Governor Soludo's administration and that is the reason he is enjoying a good relationship with Anambra workers.

"Governor Soludo will not do anything that is against workers' interest because he appreciates their contribution towards the development of Anambra and our society at large.

"Joe Ajaero issuance of a seven-day ultimatum to Governor Soludo's administration exposed him as a tool being used by evil minded people to destabilise Anambra State for politically motivated reasons but he will fail.

Continuing Obigwe said, "Anambra is peaceful under Governor Soludo's watch and the people of the state will not allow Joe Ajaero to ignite crisis in their state.

"He should take his madness elsewhere because Anambra people are not ready to condone any form of unrest in their State.

"Prof Soludo is an undisputed workers' friendly Governor and he will not allow Joe Ajaero to strain his good relationship with Anambra workers.

"The general public should disregard Joe Ajaero fabricated tissue of lies against Governor Soludo because it lacks an iota of truth.

COMRADES, calling for the implementation of minimum wage in Anambra State is now political, or what does APGA mean?

Soludo might be digging his 2nd term grave since attacking Obi last year. He think he can survive reelection without obidient support base.
