Emaxee's video titled "it's not my fault" is a Nigeria situation conscious video which features a Nigerian youth telling you about his daily and long time problems due to Nigeria daily degrading situation as a result of long term bad leadership and ill governance.

In this video he tried so much to touch the general and average problems of every Nigerian out there, the most interesting part of the video is the twist to it as it also features the Government replying to Emaxee's lamentation and holding a firm defense making sure they don't take the fault either.

It fortress of defense claiming that average Nigerians see bad leadership traits in them but still go ahead voting them into office.

As far as they get campaign goodies that can't solve their long term problems, the government also pointed out Nigerian have made it an hobby to hide behind a finger(government) as excuses for every little and major issues.

Personally I posit our current problems is here and with us, before we answer and judge who is really at fault, let's start making a change in little ways, from our single rooms, mansions, streets to estates we'd get there soon

No less than 320 Nigerians are expected back in the country on Tuesday amid xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa.

According to The Nation, the new set of returnees will arrive the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos aboard a Boeing 777 – 300 airline operated by Air Peace.

Some 187 Nigerians had arrived from South Africa last Wednesday.

Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, told the newspaper that efforts are on to deploy a bigger aircraft which can hold up to 367 passengers.

“We are fully set for Tuesday, our aircraft and crew will leave about four o clock and get to South Africa about 9 o’clock for the operations. We hope about 350 Nigerians are ready so that we fly enough passengers not to leave the aircraft empty,” he said.

Nigeria’s Consul General in Johannesburg, Godwin Adama, had said on Friday that many of the returnees missed the first flight because of their uncoordinated attitudes.

He said the delay in the evacuation process was caused by misplacement of travel documents as required by South African immigration laws.

Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage on Sunday gave a humorous response to the debate on social media concerning the richest between her and Star Boy, also known as Wizkid.

The argument was triggered by a twitter user, @williamserena5, after she wrote, “Wizkid and Tiwa Savage: who is richer?”

However, most of the responses tilted in favour of Wizkid, while some took it offensive by claiming it was an insult to compare their wealth.

Tiwa who seems to be in a good mood following her trip from Atlanta where she met with top American music business mogul, Puff Daddy, joking said she has been calling to borrow money from Wizkid but he is not picking.

Tiwa wrote: “Abeg o, me that have been calling to borrow money sef. Baba give me missed calls.”

Spanish basketball team have won the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup beating Argentina 95-75 in the final match that took place at the Wukesong Sport Arena in Beijing, 042his.com report


Spain have now joined the United States, Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and Brazil as only the fifth country to win multiple FIBA World Cup trophies.

Although Argentina mounted repeated runs to trim Spain’s lead, coach Sergio Scariolo’s side withstood every Argentine charge.

Spain also unleashed extremely tight defence on Argentina, who had to bleed for their points. For the first time in the World Cup, veteran big man Luis Scola was held scoreless for an entire half, and that undoubtedly had a negative impact on Argentina’s quest for their second World Cup trophy.


Coach Scariolo’s side never let up the pressure, intensifying their aggressiveness on both ends of the floor as the game progressed, disabling Argentina from turning the tide and ensuring an eight-game sweep of the World Cup.

Ricky Rubio had 20 points to lead Spain, which also got double-figure scoring Rudy Fernandez, Marc Gasol, Sergio Llull and the Hernangomez brothers. Argentina were led by Nicolas Laprovittola and Gabriel Deck, who tallied 17 and 24 points, respectively.

Turning Point: Argentina’s 12-point half-time deficit still seemed manageable given their explosiveness, but it was the Spaniards who blew it open in the third quarter. After the Argentines opened the second half scoring with Luca Vildoza free throws, Spain went on a 14-0 tear that expanded their advantage, 55-33. Stats Don’t Lie: Spain asserted their might in the paint and showed Argentina that they too could have fluid offensive execution. The Spaniards outrebounded the Argentines, 47-27, and outscored them in the painted area, 44-30. Coach Scariolo’s squad also shot much better from the floor, making 48 percent of their field goals compared to just 36 percent for Argentina.

Earlier, France had beaten Australia 67-59 to clinch bronze for the second successive time.

Musician, Yemi Alade, has revealed that washing plates was her worst childhood chore.

The 30-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Friday.



“This Is the worst chore on earth and It was my sole responsibility in my family house for 6 years,every morning and night ,mountain of plates, pots and a billion spoons like say na restaurant �������,not long after , cooking lunch and dinner was added to it.���� So Washing about 10 plates while shooting #HOME,” she wrote.
In an interview with Ndani TV recently, Yemi Alade said that she may never collaborate with colleague, Tiwa Savage, because she is not sure how fans would react to the project.



“It’s unfortunate that with the troubles that people keep steering in our ways, it probably will never allow us to ever have a collaboration, because you’re not sure the outcome would even be positive or be over run by negative things and all the fights. When we do music, we do it so people can be happy, so when we do a song together, what are we fueling? What are we encouraging? That’s the most important question,” she said.

On Thursday, Tiwa Savage praised Yemi Alade, over her latest album, Woman Of Steel.

A member of staff of the University of Lagos, Akoka (UNILAG) has died by suicide after appearing before a panel over a bus in his care which got burnt.

Sunday Meshioye killed himself on Wednesday by consuming deadly insecticide, Sniper.



He was questioned by the panel on Tuesday.

UNILAG’s principal assistant registrar and head of information unit, Taiwo Oloyede, said Mr Meshioye was a driver attached to the Sociology Department, Faculty of Social Science.

Mrs Oloyede said the committee had not concluded the investigation before the worker took his life.

“A driver with the University of Lagos is suspected to have committed suicide. He was facing a panel that was set up to unravel the circumstances that led to the destruction by fire, of an official vehicle,” she said.

“The unfortunate incident took place before the panel concluded its investigation. It’s indeed a sad situation.”



The victim was taken to the university’s health centre before being transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, where he died.

He is survived by a wife and three children.

A 49-year-old travel agent, David Ojukwu, who allegedly defrauded a client of N1.7 million under the pretence of helping procure an Australian visa for him, on Friday appeared in an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.


The police charged Ojukwu, who resides at No.7 Tewogbade St., Ojodu Berger in Lagos with three counts of conspiracy, stealing and obtaining money under false pretences.

The defendant pleaded not guilty.

The Police Counsel, ASP Akeem Raji, told the court the defendant allegedly collected N1.7 million from the complainant, Mr. Ifesochukwu Nwankwo, to procure an Australian Visa, a representation he knew to be false.

Raji alleged that the defendant committed the offence with others at large in January 2018 in Ikeja.

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections of 287,314 and 411 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015, (Revised).


The rule of law states that obtaining money under false pretences attracts 15 years imprisonment, stealing three years and conspiracy two years if found convicted.

Chief Magistrate A.O. Layinka admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum. She ordered that the sureties must be gainfully employed.

She adjourned the case until Sept.30 for hearing.

Engaged couple, Tope Adenibuyan, better known as Teddy A, and partner Bamike Olawunmi (BamBam), were featured in the music video for ‘Count On You’ by artiste Johnny Drille.

The video was released on Friday.


The 3:58 seconds video saw the couple imitate a wedding on the beach and was shot by Timmy Davies.



BamBam and Teddy A, who began their romance on the reality TV show, held the ceremony in Ogun State on Saturday.

The lovebirds had announced their engagement on Instagram on August 4.



Teddy A and BamBam made headlines for their relationship during and after the reality TV show.

In May 2018, they were the cover stars for the love edition of The Celebrity Shoot magazine where they talked about their relationship and brand.
