sweetjohn: Egypt is Africa Brazil and Real Madrid in football. Country with 7 nation cup while Nigeria is still 3 Abi 4 no be joke They only have 4 REAL titles. The first three aren't worth counting. They were just 3 to 8 teams playing in the tournament then. That was the only time Ethiopia even won the title also |

Akalia: one thing I am very sure of is that if Nigeria meets Morocco, Morocco will concede goals breaking their clean sheet streak. Victory could go either way though. We don't play attacking football, that's my worry. We only win in slow games |

Adakintroy: You can see how tactical organise white Africans are. The black are all power and no coordination am routing for them but they are just poor tactical wise. They may just be enjoying regional advantage and motivation. Apart from Egypt, they hardly make it past group stage in most tournaments |

Naijagoodman: If we put our house together, we can whip this Morocco team Nigeria team is known to capitulate immediately you apply pressure on them. Once you start pressing them, they start conceding goals. This Morroco plays with more pressure and determination |

This was how Ivory Coast played against Nigeria. Endless, continuous pressure and heat until they won.
You can tell which team is playing better and more determined to win from the beginning, even if the opponent scores first |

We all knew Cameroon wouldn't survive though. We just hoped they could pull a surprise, which isn't happening yet.
This isn't the dreaded, hefty, muscular Cameroon of Eto's era. |

lanreni: Why should we play for a draw if we are really serious as a team? After all, Uganda should be easily beatable compared to Tunisia. It should be an opportunity to access players in the bench and other types of formation, which might prove useful in the knockout stages. Was Tanzania easily beatable? Stop underrating any team, you will not hear. These are the "small teams" that denied us the world cup ticket. |

They really need to stop dishing out penalty kicks any time the ball touches a players arms. It takes away the beauty of the game and opens it to exploitation.
In a physical game like football, it's literally unavoidable. Unless there was obvious intent to obstruct the ball from advancing with hands, I say just let it slide.
The whole thing is becoming a serious joke |
Sports › Re: Even Salah Was Surprised - South Africa Coach Slams Controversial Egypt Penalty by 0Brien: 4:32pm On Dec 28, 2025 |
Prenonjebose: Una never see anything. Minimal contact is contact. Natural arm position is never penalized. You lost fair and square even with Egypt playing one man down for half the duration of the match, yeye. You are quoting Salah as if that justifies your loss. I watched that match, and can conclude that you guys didn't deserve to earn a point from that game. What about the Nigerian incident yesterday? The arm wasn't in a natural position? |
