omonnakoda:It's still an open secret that Yorubas make a living out of lies, falsehood, noise-making, propaganda, abuse and slurs to be able to survive at the expense of others. Just like the chameleon, the Yorubas can change the colour of their skin at will and can vacillate at random between Christian and Muslim worlds whenever the evil spirit begins to operate them. Little wonder they are descendants of a fallen demon! The vacillation is akin to the abracadabra of a sworn homosexual who might screw a man today, a woman tomorrow, or an animal the next time. You never can tell. The level of Yoruba treacheery and betrayal is second to none. Finding a reliable and trustworthy Yoruba person is like searching for a pin in a haystack. Yorubas who possess these good characters are rare. Yorubas are not only treacherous but always at the servitude of the Northerners which is very worrisome. Remember, during the 1966-70 era bloodthirsty Yorubas and their partners in crime positioned themselves in airports and railway stations hounding and killing off innocent Eastern passengers. Knowing that the die is cast and that Igbos are more than ever before determined to leave you behind in this contraption you lots have resorted to lies and evil campaigns of calumny against the Igbo Nation. Immediately after the civil war of 1967-70, Yorubas and their Northern masters robbed Igbos of their hard earned money in banks and building societies. Yorubas and their Northern masters empowered themselves with the stolen funds. In 1972 Gowon with the support of Awolowo enacted and enforced the Indigenization decree which led to the collapse of the Nigerian economy. By virtue of the promulgated Indigenization decree in 1972, the criminal gang went on to dispose the British of their establishment. They acquired the companies of the colonial masters and later looted and destroyed the companies leading to the ruin and collapse of the Nigerian economy being witnessed today. As if the evils beings committed by this criminal gang isn't enough Olusegun Obasanjo promulgated the Land Use Decree (now Land Use Act) in 29th of March, 1978. The criminals were emboldened the more to plunder the crude oil resources in East and Nigerdelta and owning virtually all the oil blocks. The North and their Southern stooges have been sucking Niger-delta crude oil to better their own region, religion and elites while degrading the environment and impoverishing the Niger-deltans! "...I was an assistant publicity secretary of the party, so I know all the happenings – the action of Tony Enahoro, the boycott by northern members of house reps, the riot that followed the plan to turn Nigeria to confederation, and those who protested.” According to him, “Only two people are everywhere in Nigeria – Igbos and Hausas. This is because Igbos are hardworking, and Hausas are everywhere because they are the only one that can do menial jobs. “Before the civil war started, the Yorubas said if Igbos are allowed to go, they too will go on the secession declaration. “It was Chief Awolowo who said it openly and publicly; it was published in newspapers... “The place Igbos left were occupied by Yoruba, particularly the civil service. “Till today the Yoruba are the dominant elements in the bureaucracy of Nigeria..." - Alhaji Tanko Yakassai Chairman of the Northern Elders Council, NEC http://nigerianpilot.com/restructuring-calls-fears-igbos-yakassai/ This is the same North Yorubas bragged with that love them and hate Igbos. When one would think the slyness and untrustworthiness is only expressed by the better South. The North equally shares the same sentiments despite the perpetual ass-licking stance of the Yorubas to their Hausa-Fulani masters. What a hilarious shame. It must truly suck to be a Yoruba. Madam Kemi Nkem Omololu-Olunloyo BLOCKED: Almost no yorubas left on my FB page. I will not SUBSCRIBE to tribalism against the Igbos and #Biafra . We killed THEM and boasted about it. Gen Obasanjo, Col Rotimi, Gen Ibrahim Taiwo etc etc. Oluwole Rotimi was fired by Yaradua as NG Ambassador to USA for his Biafra comment to Ojo Maduweke NG Ambassador to Canada, OBJ still boasting "We will do to Boko Haram what we did to Biafra-OBJ 2015", Ibrahim Taiwo assassinated same day as Gen Murtala Muhammed on a Friday the 13th an evil day in 1976. I no longer spend the N20 note in Nigeria. These were not heroes. Ojukwu was the real hero we were told to hate. It took years for me to know that. My father was the only Yoruba leader at his funeral. Those yoruba youth who say they saw Tinubu there were hallucinating. Both Taiwo and MM ordered Nigerian Army into Asaba and killed 700 innocent civilan men, raped their wives, daughters and ruined the town. Google Asaba massacres on Wikipedia. U are on your internet. We as Yoruba youth were brainwashed into seeing them as HEROES. Today's youth must be told the truth. History is no longer in schools. It must be told. If you were not born 1967-70 and watched 3 years of the war on WNTV now NTA, u need to STFU. Those begging me on Twitter will be ignored. The Igbo children dancing in this collage at KJ's school event are Yoruba. STOP YOUR TRIBALISM! To my Biafrans on social media, ABSOLUTELY no violence or advocating violence on #socialmedia . Do not play into the hands of King Buhari, Father Mbaka Mfaker and the DSS." http://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/10/revisiting-the-asaba-massacres/ Asaba Oct 7, 1967 Massacre by Murtala, Awolowo and their Cohorts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEaX9lVVrCM |
Perceptor:Yorubas started trouble they could not finish in 1993 using 'June 12' with their Odua Republic in mind and were expecting Igbos to fight their wars; Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi were the only people around their AareOnaKakanfo MKO Abiola when he declared himself president-elect. The arrogant and cowardly Yoruba tribe couldn't even protect him from being whisked away like a common thief. He was eventually slaughtered like a salah ram. Yoruba gra-gra for a few days therasfter didn't yield any fruit save causing bloodletting of the innocent on the streets of Lagos. Later Yoruba Obas did the unthinkable - sold Abiola and his mandate to Abacha for a mesh of porridge! Remember, before the arrival of the colonial masters Yorubas were having deadly wrestling matches amongst themselves in the Kirijiri war. They were at logger-heads and refused to tolerate themselves. It was the the emergence of Nigeria that gave Yorubas respite. A number of Yorubas despise their kinsmen in Kwara State and call them Afonja (betrayers). In the1960s, immediately after Nigeria's independence, the SW region was aflame with Awolowo vs Akintola political fight which blossomed into the 'Operation Wetie' with great arson, maiming and wanton destruction of lives and properties. Akintola and Awolowo helped Yorubas channel the hatred they had for each other towards the Igbo. In Igbo hatred Yorubas were united and that was the purpose of the Yoruba Ronu speech by Akintola! If Yorubas are unfortunate to have their own country just watch them freely annihilate themselves with juju and ritual practices. The Ijebus will claim to be richer and superior. Oyo muslims will want to sell the rest of them to their Northern masters. Human parts dealings and trading will most likely become a major GDP contributor in Oshogbo and Ibadan. Yorubas are just too scared of Nigeria's disintegration because they will lose their object of unity - The Igbo Nation. And being a tribe of anger, hate and propaganda, they would soon channel that hatred towards each other as in the days of old in the Kiriji wrestling match |
T9ksy:Frustrated bile-filled bigot from a cowardly generation of liars and history distortionists, read the message from your Yoruba brother - Femi Fani-Kayode: https://www.nairaland.com/889867/ojukwu-wished-born-igbo-femi-fani-kayode – He (Ojukwu) stood firm when others ran, compromised and did back room deals with their oppressors. He was a great and a proud warrior. "Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was not an ordinary person or one of the run of the mill leaders that we often eulogise after death in Nigeria. He was much more than that.... The father of Biafra. A man of strength, vision and courage. What an extraordinary and noble heritage. We knew your father and your father’s father. They also made their mark. They were also great and powerful men. Yet you were the star that eclipsed all stars in the Nigerian firmament. Unlike many of those who have hail you only in death, you were man enough to stand up and say ”no more” and ”never again” when your people were faced with genocide and mass murder. During the civil war the Biafrans fought like great men and lions simply because they were led by a great man and a great lion. We shall continue the fight for liberation where you stopped. The battle has passed to the next generation." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMGT2x6ZGo8&feature=youtu.be |

Perceptor:There's no need dwelling on inanities to register your utter disgust for Igbos desiring to have a separate existence from Yorubas and their cotravellers. For a long while now you lots have threatened war against Igbos. You promised yourselves to complete the annihilation of Igbos. You vowed to confiscate Igbo properties. You keep drumming, Igboland is landlocked, sea-locked, air-locked, sunlight-locked, gravity-locked and all what not just to attempt to quench the raging IPOB tsunamic movement. Yorubas have systematically burnt Igbo shops and business premises. Yorubas have used every foul means to defraud Igbos of their hard earned monies. And you still have the guts to leave the myriads of problems bedevilling Yoruba tribe to grandstand in the public with unfounded theories against the Igbo Nation. A couple of years ago, Yorubas and their cohorts bemoaned Igbos, stating that the problem of the Igbos is disunity in politics hence the marginalisation. Today Igbos have decided to take their destiny in their hands without shedding blood or vandalizing public infrastructures and the Unity has become a nightmare to the same ethnic jingoists who are now crying and shouting foul as if their existence in life is dependent on Igbos. Some 10 years ago during the incessant killing sprees in the North, Yorubas saw that carnage as an opportunity to mock Igbos that gets killed. During the Christmas bombing by Boko-Haram, prior to the release of the names of the victims, the Yorubas went on the internet to ridicule and mock Igbos as being the victims of the bombing, until the list of victims were released and Yorubas were predominately the victims. You and your Yoruba folks have used all tricks at your disposal to attempt to quench the call for self-determination and it's not working. Yet Igbos remain undaunted and are still pressing forward against all the odds to your consternation. Many Igbos don't want to share a country with you anymore and yet you keep creating unnecessary attentions for yourselves on the internet with baseless theories of absurdity to blackmail the Igbo Nation to pitch tent with you. Your chicanery is sickening already. It will be honourable for Yorubas to channel their energies towards consolidating OduaArewanistan republic now before it's too late. |
1bkaye:https://www.nairaland.com/2854914/why-fought-side-ojukwu-biafra-fola-oyewole Retired Lt. Fola Oyewole, 77, a Nigerian Military Officer of the Yoruba stock, fought on the side of Biafra during the civil war. Before then, he was, because of the first coup 50 years ago, imprisoned in Lagos and in the Enugu but was released by Lt Col Ojukwu. He wrote his own war account too, entitled “The Reluctant Rebel”, which joined other civil war narratives like ‘The Biafra Story’ (1969) by Frederick Forsyth, ‘Why We Struck’ (1981) by Adewale Ademoyega, ‘Sunset In Biafra’ (1975) by Elechi Amadi, ‘The Nigerian Revolution And the Biafran War’ (1980) by Alexander Madiebo among others. In this interview with Ademola Adegbamigbe and Femi Anjorin (Idowu Ogunleye snapped the photos), the retired army officer narrated what happened during the first coup, his participation in it and why he, despite being Yoruba, fought on the side of Biafra like other non Igbo officers like Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega and others. Q: In what area did you take part in that coup? A: Arrest, seize facility and others… Q: You were at a point, according to your book, with Captain Adeleke, another Yoruba soldier, who was he? A: He was a colleague. He is the one who said he wanted to consult the family and we were friends, we both worked in Apapa before the crisis. Q: I want you to describe what happened to other Yoruba people or non Igbo who fought on the Biafran side – Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega, then Major Kaduna Nzeogwu an Igbo from Opanam in Delta? A: They were detained like myself, and Nzeogwu was detained, that was a common factor. Q: In the book, you applaud Ojukwu’s performance in Aburi, explain to us what actually happened because there is this argument that he bamboozled Gowon A: If you listen to the Aburi accord or the proceedings as a whole, you will duff your cap for Ojukwu whether he is a villain or whatever you want to call him, call him. He really dictated the pace of the discussion, he was prepared for it, he kind of put together all the things and if you listen, the moment he started talking, others kept quiet and when he finished, they will say ok ok ok. To give you a full grasp of what the theme was, you need to read the comment of the super perm sec who led us to were we are today... |
