bugativeron: Please can someone kindly help to answer my questions below;
1. I intend travelling to USA with my wife in August 2015 (this wife) for our wedding anniversary, is it too early now to start the visa process, this is because I intend making visa fee payment today and book appointment. 2. I am at a dilemma as per sponsorship. As a civil servant she earns gross income of 125k while mine is about 700k. Should i fill in her form that i will sponsor her or she could still be eligible despite her gross income that is below 200k. I was thinking they could question my capacity to sponsor her base on my income? What do you advise. Bros! Me and my famiy also intend to travel in August. My interview date is March 10. I will advise u start as early as possible. I'm not being pessimistic but it gives one ample time to re-apply incase of rejection.And lastly, 700k is ok 4 u as sponsor. |

LadyGuinivere: You have already made your plans haven't u? U plan to go to Disney. So click yes. (IMO) Put in your tentative arrival and departure date. Put in the city and state you are going to for airport of arrival. For me , I didn't fill the airline I was travelling with. (How I wan take know?) I believe its best to fill as much as you can in your form. Shows concreteness and seriousness. Shows you know what exactly you want to go and do. Shalom @ LadyGuinivere, Chloe7. Thanks for your prompt responses. God bless. I submitted my well filled-out DS-160 form ystday and also booked an 8'o clock appointment for March 10. I'll keep the house updated. |

100dollarbills: Pheeeewwww!!! Finally!!! I'm here. From page 1 to the last Well done guys. Very well done! I've been a guest reader on NL since 2009. I decided not to join nor post 'cause of the way people throw insults and jabs at each other on the forum. So far, this has been the only sane section with respectful people. I give it to the moderator, tzetzefly, suxes01, justwise and other gurus in the house.
FFWD, my case is not uncommon, my wife gave birth to our son in the US last year.All bills were paid.She went for the interview with a virgin pssprt and she was granted. Now i would like to take my son to Disney, Orlando,Florida for his 1yr birthday and also family vacation cum august this year. However, my pssprt is more or less a virgin pssprt. 'though i've been denied UK visa twice in the past.
Pls house my questions are: 1. Judging from the VO's point of view, what would be our tie back home if i'm granted visa and then, me, my wife and my son (american citizen) go to the US? Pls note i have landed properties and a well-established business
2. Would the VO probably ask for reasons for the 2 UK visa denials? Or ask why we haven't travelled abroad together as a family before?
Please gurus in the house, over to you sirs and ma'ams Hello gurus, Pls i'm in the process of filling my DS-160 form. However, on the Travel Information section, there' s where i have "Have you made a specific travel plans?" if i click YES it will prompt for the airline i'm travelling with,date of departure, arrival date, where do you plan to visit/itinery, airport of arrival etc and if i click NO it prompts the questions i get are; intended date of arrival, length of stay and the person paying for the trip etc Pls gurus what should i select "YES" or "NO". |

Alubosa: Well.......u'd v applied while ur wife was still in the state saying u wanted to witness d birth of ur child even though u wldnt go.U'd v seized d opportunity. Ur case is not hopeless just be honest in ur interview Sir, i planned to do that but some stuffs that required my financial attention came up so i had to priortize. I didnt know one could get a visa even if he doesn't have the plans of travelling. What i was made to understand is that one must travel not later 6 months of issuance of visa otherwise he could be sent back at POE. I wouldn't know how true that is |
Travel › Re: Usa Visit Visa by 100dollarbills(m): 3:26am On Jan 05, 2015 |
LadyGuinivere: @100dollar (nna send some to me na! Lol) 1. UK refusal no concern them. They won't ask you. If I'm right, in filling the US form, u are only asked about prior US refusals if any.
2. When you are applying go along with all your wife's reciepts and gbo gbo eh. If she got a zero balance report from the hospital carry am go. Cos as you are going for family vacation, they'l ask if your wife and son have a visa and from there, they'l scutinise your wife.
3. Virgin passport is not a bar as lotsa people have gotten with that.
4. As to tie, now it depends on your business? Small or medium or large scale? That is one of the ties they will consider
5. IMO , you have a fighting chance, cos your wife went, did not abuse the process, paid and came back. If I was the VO, I'll assume that your family is a law abiding one. Your son, though a citizen is still a baby so I do not think it will bear much weight. If your wife didn't seek support then, its unlikely she will now (My 2 kobo).
I have a question sha. When your wife was going did she apply to give birth or she just used her visa to give birth? If the latter was the case, did she inform them of her intention? Lol @ Nna send some to me na.I will, you deserve it the great job you are doing hereon ma. I'm just trying to view myself from a "winch craft" VO's point of view.i.e the fact that my wife went to US, gave birth, paid her bill and came back could be a decoy to a grand plan of not coming back if we all enter, lols. My business is relatively medium. I have 12staff on my payroll apart from adhoc staffs. And yes, my wife got a B1/B2 medical visa. Lastly, i will like to go for the interview by 3rd week of march please when should i start filling the ds-160/schedule appointment. Thanks |
