Like a child that thinks that he’s grown up, I withdrew my hand from your loving, firm grip in my mistaken use of my will to embrace the glitter that has caught my untrained eyes.

Yet you let me wander, for you won’t let me walk with you out of compulsion, I wonder how you never fail to let me exercise the use of the freedom you have gratuitously bequeathed me.

Despite all that I all I sought, I found nothing but hollows that did not match my heart’s innate demands for beauty, justice truth and happiness, for they were supposed to be signs not the substance.

Disillusioned I cry like the babe that I am to you, before you, only more confident that you have never failed to show up even though it will seem like an eternity.
