Requirements

University Degree and proof of completion.
PHP 5 and OOP beneficial
Minimum 2 years’ in PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level
Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions Theme/Template integration
jQuery / AJAX an advantage
Portfolio of WordPress jobs
Professional Online profile
Knowledge and experience of web accessibility
Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
Knowledge of WordPress Multisites
Creating multi-lingual websites (Advantageous)
Willingness to learn Ability to work within team

Job Description

Creation of custom post types
Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform to the WordPress coding standards
Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
Theming WordPress sites from a given design
Working with a team of design professionals, copywriters, web marketers and developers to produce a fully functional WordPress website.
