Everyknows was recently launched by two Nigeria tech geeks, Obicheozo Emeka and Marvelous Amaechi.

Rumors had it that the newly launched questions and answers website may be the perfect alternative or a replacement to Quora (owned by former Facebook employees Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever in June 2009).

Financially, Quora was heavily sponsored by these two smartest persons ‘Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever’. Initially, Quora employees were been paid to provide questions and answers on Quora until it got to a stage where their Internet community can sustain itself.

Quora user base have been growing quickly since 2010. In September 2018, Quora reported hitting 300 millions monthly users.

Speculation were being made about what the future of Everyknows will look like considering the fact that they may not have heavy sponsors or budget for marketing in order to get the right people to drive their own verse of Nigerian Quora going.

The question now is: Is Everyknows going to survive as a question and answer website just like Quora? What’s the biggest challenge facing it?
