The Senate on Friday fixed 17 March for final consideration and passage of the N58—472 trillion 2026 budget. Hopefully you guys should hear from NRS and CDCFIB soon.

The two recruitment captures the last year's budget not the proposed budget, but it is possible before or after the 17 March the NRS to complete their recruitment because they will go to national assembly to defend budget and the national assembly slots are still hanging they will ask them the reasons for the delay, because they can cut their budget if the recruitment process is not finished.

People should move on guy, they're just calling different people away from old slot lists, and after January the possibility of calling people is very narrow. Connection is not working anymore.

Firs(nrs) has been sharing apls on a weekly basis for donkey weeks now. You can still get in, get a strong connect. Word on the street is things are going to slow down once a new board gets inaugurated in Feb. Goodluck.

Which board? Because Zacch is the board chairman since 2023. If you were referring to FCC they were already inaugurated by Mr President last week

Not at all, it doesn’t affect them. FIRS is self funding, the only money they received from 2025 budget was for the completion of their new headquarters building.

Guy any news about FIRS before end of this January or people should move on?

Hopefully, the budget will be passed in the first quarter just as last year's was done in february.

They've expanded the current budget to March and after that they would continue with the next budget, however this issue is not about the budget until you hear from inside.

Only God knows that but if no any tangible thing beyond January, just forget it and move on.

Because no one will tell you the reason, not even your sponsor so you are indirectly being told to forget it.

I don't think it has to do with the budget, because the number of the recruitment has been approved in the current budget. However, the next budget will take months to be signed by Mr president.

I don’t think so. We met around July or august last year. I can’t fully remember. He was telling me about submitting his cv for DSS and his elder brother who is in government is the one running it for him. He called me on Monday to tell me both him and his younger brother got it and have started documentation. He almost lost hope at point but God decided to surprise him.
