Not far from ibadan oyo. I believe u will see direct bus to illorin then board a bus frm illorin goinh top lafiaja tell the bus driver u aя̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ alighting @ yikpata camp.

When u get to ilorin,get down at General.Then call maraba park.it is only #50 or #60.At maraba park,find a bus going to yipata.it is about #500 or so.

Served in Kwara state in 2008. Camp is in Yikpata. A very peaceful state I must say, Ilorin is the best place to serve. There are other semi-urban areas like Offa,Omu-aran,Share,Bode Saadu,Bacita,Lafiaji. Please do all you can in camp to avoid being posted to Baruten LGA. It's over 5hrs drive from Ilorin. Good luck guys.

Don't get too excited. Kwara state does not pay corpers. Only some local govt that pays #2000.
Although the state is peace for now. At yikpata u will experience a lot of unbearable living condition. No toilet, so passing out of your waste product will be in the bush. Go with an mtn line, cos another network does not work there. You charge at mammy market. Don't think for sending messages on facebook, bbm, or whatsapp about current activities on camp. Enjoy your stay at yikpata.
N.B kaiama local govt and baruten local govt that where corpers dread to go.

@ Eran u can get a bus going 2 Ilorin at Challenge. When u get to Ilorin Park, u will definitely see buses going 2 Yikpata. Have fun.

Ladies posted to kwara state, pls be aware of d fact that there r no toilets and bathrooms.go with sunshades, the sun for yikpata no be here o. Mtn network is the best there, u can use ur bb a lil. Kwara state camp no. Funny tho. Lots of sun and snakes.

The camp is pathetic, expect platoons of mosquitoes in your hostels, camp officials are hostile, go with anti-malaria drugs, water is a bit scarce and finally, prepare to sign for state allowance that u will not be paid (2k). Sorry i busted the bubble but it was a bitter experience when i did mine.
