They call you wife, problem. They call you oyinbo or akata, problem. Am sure if they call you by your real name it will be a problem. Are you not their brother's intending wife? What exactly is the problem you have being called exactly what you are. Omo some people can use torchlight to find trouble. Their brother tried gaan ni o.

Its a normal way the ibos refer to the women married into there families (whether the woman is ibo or not),very normal.

Because they want her to feel as a part of the family and in my tribe,its believed that if u marry a man,u marry the entire family.

Thank you for the help. I was confused when she told me about this. She seemed to be ok with her sister in law calling her wife. smiley
