why is said that automatic cars are not to be pushed when they stop. |

You can push it. Just ensure d car is in neutral. |

It is not easy to push start an automatic car .The main reason why it is difficult is that the automatic transmission uses a torque converter which is not designed for reverse motion. Hydraulic pressure will be required to make the automatic transmission transmit power flow; therefore, a mechanic should be sought during such eventualities. |

You can push it, but not pushing to start it incase of battery problem. |

rextimon: why is said that automatic cars are not to be pushed when they stop.Where did you get that story from? You can push it out of the way but its not possible to push start it by hand. You may tow start it but will require you towing it at a speed of up to 50/ 60kmph. |
