A hospitality company require the services of a qualified candidate to fill this position:




Responsibilities:

•Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.

•Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts and document business transactions.

•Analyse and review budgets and expenditures.

•Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

•Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.

•Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.

•Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.

•Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

Qualification and Requirements:


•Good knowledge of audit processes, accounting background, inventory control processes, ability to make use of software application module like ERP, strong numerical strength among others.

•A degree holder in relevant field with at least six (6) years progressive experience in audit management.

•Must be a chartered accountant and Membership of relevant professional bodies and post-graduate degree will be an added advantage
