i just want to know if its necessary to use an antivirus on an android machine since they seem not to be prone to viral attack. if necessary, i will like to know the reason and also you can make recommendations on which is preferable to use..

On my own Android, I use Avast antivirus to block some apps from connecting to internet.

its only d apps DAT I want DAT will connect. so if I leave 5mb data on my fone, brother, na so I go meet my 5mb data o. except for whatsapp DAT cld av consumed some kb

It's good to use one, but I uninstalled mine due to insufficient ram and battery.

Avast is the best with many features.

The best part of it, is because of FOC which 9jarians like a lot.
