This will be wrong if it's not your Cafe smiley

Google Beyond Exec and/or try Process Explorer.

Do this using the Command Prompt, the best way around everyshit.
Download process.exe from the page linked above.
Fire up a CMD window (Start -> Run -> 'cmd'), extract the content of the zip and drag it into the CMD window and execute. It's a command line Task manager. Locate the PID of your cafe timer (a name will help).
run:

Taskkill /f /pid # /t

taskkill - kill a task
/f - with force
/pid the # displayed beside the running process
/t - Murder its descendants, child processes :p

Report Back wink

You could also run 'msconfig', uncheck the software and reboot - run '%programfiles%, delete its files.
Get Process Explorer, Process Handler, etc .Murder everything
or a Linux Live CD smiley - u know they are so many ways to trap a rat.
