This evening when I was facebooking, I got a message that I should upgrade my Facebook and immediately I licked on upgrade before I knew, my phone went off I tried putting it on but all to no avail. Dont know if there is anything I can do. I nid your suggestion. Its a bold5. Tanks.

Remove the ba3 and re-insert....if that does not work. Remove the ba3 for a while (prolly an hour or 2), then re-insert.

Thats a classic example of sudden death in BB phones.
Its fixable, but you will loose all your data.
Its not something an end user can do as you require some pro softwares (which are dongle protected).

Some cases even when PC cant detect it (with/without ba3), its still fixable
