Dis warning is still relevant to us today bcus even wen it is not voiced out, it is implied by many who achieved great things dat dey achieved dem bcus dey were smarter, wiser or more talented dan others. You surely have forgotten d source of ur victory if u accept d commendations of men, probably in a public gathering, dat ur achievements were made possible by hard work. Many re working harder dan u yet re far 4rm getting to d height u have reached. Good success is more dan skill. It is more dan tact or hard work. You cannot have it without God's backing. How can u prove to God dat u have not forgotten dat He is d One who blessed u in d first place? It is wen u put Him first in all u do. Malachi 3:8-10 says if u rob Him of His tithe, He will place u under a curse, but if u bring ur full tithe, He will open d windows of Heaven to release more blessings on u. If u have not forgotten ur source of blessing, u will tithe b4 even spending whatever He gives to u. In Genesis 22:1-18, after Abraham finally got a son 4rm God, he was put to test to see if he loved d gift or d Giver more. God asked him to go nd sacrifice Isaac nd Abraham obeyed; but b4 he could kill d boy, God stopped him nd pronounced an irreversible blessing on him. Are u ready to part with dat valuable thing dat God has given to u as proof dat u have not forgotten Him? What is so dear to ur heart dat u re not prepared to give to God? Dat should be d first thing to give to Him to convince Him dat u remember He is ur source. Never touch wat is His - pay ur tithe in full or even exceed it. Show Him u appreciate nd love Him beyond any gift He gives to u.
