Like slum dog millionaire too. But there was this documentary about an evil cultural practice in Ethiopia called Mingi. Here, children born outside wedlock, outside marriage blessing, twins and others are killed. They are drowned, thrown over a cliff or even drowned. It moved me to tears. It inspired me to write an article join Mingi on www.madamsabi...

3 Idiots, Schindler's List, Hotel Rwanda. And there's this Nigerian film I watched when I was a kid. Mama Sunday or so. I watched this movie 4 times and cried 4 times. The fifth time they were watching it, I decided I had had enough.

I've watched Akeelah and the Bee.... Didn't shed a tear though smiley
A movie being emotional doesn't necessarily make you cry... you know some people don't just shed tears 'anyhow'.

If you have a daugther and you have big dreams for her, "Akeelah and the Bee" will surely get you emotional... somehow. Believe me, it got to me at some point in the movie.

Mingi, wow! I bet I wouldn't be able to watch it. That's like asking me to watch the video of the four boys from Uniport that were gruesomely murdered (RIP). Very sad.
it is disheartening but in the documentary, you get to watch a young man, the first to go to school in the Karo tribe rescuing some of these children..I thanked God for being born in Nigeria! Honestly!

Certainly the three idiots. I can't foresee any movie ever displacing it in my heart!

I learnt a lot from American Pie series, especially from 1-3. I learnt of the word "Milf" for example. Truly inspiring.
