Title: APPLICATION DEVELOPER ( Telecommute)


ROLE INCLUDES:

 Provide analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of application systems.
 Design and develop modules using Microsoft technologies including .Net, C#, VB.Net
 Take part in all aspects of the development lifecycle (project scope, R & D, vendor selection, requirements analysis and design).
 Work closely with other members of the development team on design.
 Other duties as assigned.



REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Excellent problem-solving skills, a self-starting attitude and good communication skills are essential
• Excellent Organizational skills
• Deadline Oriented and able to deliver by expected deadlines
• Technical consulting experience
• 2-5+ years of proven database development experience using MS SQL Server 2000/2005
• 3-4 years C# development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio -- Technically fluent in programming languages, including SQL2005, .NET/C#, XML required
• 3-4 years Microsoft SQL Server development experience
• 3-4 years ASP.NET experience - Experience with both ASP.net and winform development
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience
• Strong familiarity with the .NET Framework.
• Strong experience building large, interactive web sites
• Familiarity with Ajax technologies*
• IIS experience
• XML experience
• Strong communications skills needed to quickly interpret requirements and designs and carry out assigned development tasks.*
• Experience writing complex stored procedures and SQL queries
• Good understanding of Tables, Indexes, Constraints, Joins, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Hierarchies in SQL, WCF/Web Services 
• Work and communicate effectively, to gather report requirements and specifications, maintain release schedules, and see projects through
• Analyze current reports and modify an existing report and/or create a new report from scratch
• Thoroughly analyze the business model and efficiently extract appropriate data in readable formats for end users
• Write complex stored procedures and SQL queries
• Ability to write raw SQL queries on the fly (ad hoc) and distribute the results in any number of formats

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree: CS, Information Management, Engineering, or related
• MBA: Computer Science, CS, Engineering, I'm or related (a plus)
• Microsoft Certified / Certifications: (a plus)
• Additional Training (a plus)

from the last benefit i could almost hazard a guess that the role is expected 2 be in nigeria.

it's a Telecommute position. Ofcourse!!!

i think ppl understand better if u use "out-source" rather than "telecommute". or will the person be a direct employee complete with benefits etc?

I am looking to get INTELLIGENT people who are at least open to looking up the meaning of words they do not understand when they encounter them. This position is not for someone who already thinks he/she has it all figured out and not for someone who is looking to dictate how things should go just because that is the way he/she wants it. I am looking for a serious programmer with skills and ability to actually listen and do work as it ought to be.

Interviews will be via Phone and most communication will be over phone/Internet meetings and so this position demands one have access to the internet and be ready to do all necessary to keep up with projects and deadlines.
