Whats your mobile Brand and model?The unlock code is based on the IMEI which is different for
each phone. The best "free" way is to call your carrier and
beg a little bit. It works better if you have been a customer for
some time. You can find tons of unlock web sites if you
Google "cell phone unlock". Stay away from the ones that
want you to mail them your phone. Look for those that will
generate your code and email it and instructions as soon as
your payment clears. Pay by credit card so you can dispute
payment if things go wrong.

This site http://www.simpleunlocking.com/supported-phones/rs16wp7/ has a nearly perfect with google checkout and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.
