Guys can you recommend a tablet that's not expensive but can handle the rigours of typing and research.....using MS word and the likes...which I won't have to "point and kill" to type with.... probably with a keyboard. Thanks

Buy a lenovo S5000 7" ultra light weight ultra slim tablet.

After some month usage of samsung tab 7 4.0 which is a very unimpressive tablet which I bought with equivalent to NGN56,000 during its early release, I made a switch to lenovo S5000 which I bought from konga.com for NGN39,000 i can authoritatively say the lenovo S5000 in a 1000 and 1 ways better than the samsung tab 7 4.0.

You can't substitute a tab for a PC or notebook. A notebook/pc does way much more than a tablet does. Its more opened to vast variety of application and usage. But tablet is limited compared to a pc.

It has Kingsoft office full version preinstalled in it which is enough for you to view and type PDF, XLS, excel, word etc. The virtual keyboard is QWERTY and its okay to use.

Its a brandless tablet. I ordered straight 4rm the manufacturer and i asked them to do it so cos, most of my customers that could not afford brands like Apple, samsung etc are being mocked by friends @ the slightest sight of a CHINKO TABLET.
