When dogs fight, u shuld always try to separate them, an adult dog fighting with a 3 month old pup? Nd u allowed it? Cmon u shuld ve known dt d adult was jst cumin into ur house nd wuldnt show ur cauc whose boss jst imediately cos it felt lyk stil a stranger, rfsz,d nw he has claimed his rank back. Well since it has apened, try to separate d two of them, try nt to keep them together unsupervised, ur cauc only needs time to heal nd gain his confidence bk, he is in shock nd lost confidence in himself cos he was defeated, he is no longer d alpha, so has to be submisive, jst separate dem for a while nd stil show love equally as u do b4, dey wuld eventually challenge each oda again one day wen he is bigger, in a compound filled wit dogs, all dogs mst be submisive to atleast one, there re diff heirachy

This is highly logical. Your cauc just lost his territory to a new entrant. This is common amongst canines who move in packs. The moment you lose your spot at the "head" of the table, you tend to operate in submission...

One more thing, you need to create a spirit of brotherhood amongst your pets. There're a lot of ways to go about that. Teach them to live in one accord. They them on regular evening walks, never allow them eat together, teach them to respect each other's boundaries, etc.

U wuld nt mk him feel depressed as long as u dnt maltreat it, the only thing is dt dere must be a leader dt one of dem has to be submisive to, doesn't mean they wuld bcom any less agile, if u want ur cauc to be d leader of dt pack den do as I say, wen he gains control again, the pit wuld bcom submisive to him, bt d bst tin for u to do if u want bth of dem to work equally @ dsame pace nd wit same energy is to socialize dem, neva leave dem unsupervised nd try avoid dem frm fighting cos dey wuld attempt to challenge each oda again nd train dem on obedience training nd let dem see u as dier pack leader, ur dog only needs tym to get used to being kinda dethroned, wen hez bigger he wuld attempt getting his pack back

Hi Drealbunmi!!!

To protect your puppy, make it clear that the Pit bull is more important than the Caucasian. With dogs, action speaks louder than words. If you are still playing about with the puppy and holding the puppy in your arms and letting him jump on you. Your Pit bull will observe and feel that the puppy is dominating you and thus he will do what is necessary to prevent the puppy from acting in this way. So anything you do from now on, feeding, playing, etc, make sure you do it first with the pitbull and then later with the puppy. Make sure they have separate dog houses, food and water bowls and so on. In my personal opinion, I would encourage you to completely ignore the puppy (as in don' play with him) for a good 5 days. Instead play with the pitbull everyday. What they both need to understand and agree is that the PITBULL is the boss. If there is any doubt concerning this hierarchy, one of them will surely die. Right now the odds are completely AGAINST your caucasian, unless he has access to Obelisk's Magic Potion!

That being said, if the two fought and your puppy is still not as bright as before. My first questions to you: Is he still eating? what is his body language like? After a fight, it is possible to sustain internal wounds... which could eventually kill him. So please rule out the possibility that your much loved puppy is suffering from internal wounds.

Hope this helps

You are wicked! Why will you allow a 3 months PUPPY to fight a full grown pitbull?
Separate those dogs... and try and gradually socialise them..
