My face Every day, in every way. I smile in pain, drained in rain. You dine in fame, I stare in vain. Every week, in every wake. I die again, gaining no grain. You walk in grace, I look amazed. Every month, in every ounce. I loose the game, to know your name. You laugh away, I see the play. You are not my friend, you are not my foe. You are just the love, I hate to loose. I walk in the shadow, I flee at your light. I stay in your dreams long after you wake, Hoping that someday, you might see my face. |
