It seems we keep recycling this old arguments. Every side is more determined to hold onto their convictions more than ever before.
It seems we do not have more important issues to discuss.
This matter is creating unnecessary tensions and bickering amongst us Christians.
I suggest everyone should sheath their swords of arguments.
We can win over converts with obvious division and quarrels amongst us; others are mocking us.

When shall we talk about love, giving, forgiveness, healing, etc?

We have simply majored on the issues that divide us.

Let him that pays his tithe do not condemn him that pays not, and vice versa.

We keep driving away people from our faith with our constant TITHE arguments.

Christ will hold us accountable.

All we need to do is to create more and more awareness and let people know that is is not required of them as christians. Fact is that most tithers tithe because they have been misled and they don't know better. What we need is a critical mass of christians to search the scriptures for themselves on the tithe matter and set them selves free from this bondage.

Of course the tithe collectors are fighting back and twisting scriptures further to support their scam but it's won't work because their argument is weak and the weight of biblical evidence against the scam is very compelling.

It would get to a stage were a pastor knows he would be labelled as a criminal if he should dare to preach tithe. So at this point we still have a lot of work to do in creating awareness.

As much as I agree with the OP in all totality. We must clearly see from new threads that it is not the anti-tithers that are starting the tithe threads and\or argument but the tithe groups. If they keep their lies to themselves, we will be cool. As long as they bring up those scripture twisting, and we're still alive, we will challenge their lies.

They, the tithe teachers are too desperate and we can't let that happen when we know the truth of the gospel. Tithe in our days and time, is like the keepers of the law\Judaizers the Apostle Paul combated in his days. They distort the message of the cross.
