big? Depends on preference, but too far back? You've got no choice. Don't expect to get a vehicle of last decade at your pocket size. You should be looking at cars from around 1991-1998,latest. Good. Luck with your search. You could also contact some mechanics.

Are you kidding me? Are you trying to steal from the OP? 400k buying abroad.. Shipping alone is $1500 where would you include the clearing and the buying of the car even if the car is going for free. To clear the clear won't be for free. Thieves.

Thank you guys for the advice...someone almost scammed me...please thank God for me..he brought the car for testing and told me to pay into his account the next day then he will text his address so I can come and pick up the car....at first I obliged and said I prefer to pay him face to face...he brought in job saying we are now in a cashless policy world,no one carries cash around,he also refused to follow me to the bank...I just knew he was a 419 and ran away..

Gina, I bashed u in one of ur threads. Now u r sounding responsible. My advice is as a lady, just go for toyota corolla with that budget. The car is lady like and has fantastic fuel economy. Parts are available and affordable. Be careful, Xmas is around the corner and scammers are everywhere. Even meeting them these days is not good as they even kidnap. Check tradestable.com. U can choose ur locality. Don't worry, u will drive home dis Xmas. Will look out for a corolla for u.

400k will get you something more better. The 200k-250k sounded like you wanted to buy the car to learn mechanic, Nigerian "used" car for that matter.....am sure it will come with 10 spanner, plug, cellotape etc.
