Need Help HTML+CSS+XML by akereconfi: 4:37pm On Nov 14, 2014
I am working on a course work, designing a website. I want to fit my logo into the header, but once input the logo, it changes the style of the NAV bar

<body>
<div id="header">
<img src="logo.jpg" style="width:960px;height:auto;>
</div>

This is the code I used to fit it how I want, but it changes the style of the Navigation bar below

Even when I delete the "style" the images appears bogus and takes over the screen.

I don't want to edit the image to make it smaller because it will appear pixelated when projected on the screen

You have to change the size... Change the "960" to something smaller.. Or use paint or photoshop to reduce it.

That would be wrong. The <body> element should be the enclosing tag for every other element to be displayed on the page.

That would be wrong. The <body> element should be the enclosing tag for every other element to be displayed on the page. You use wapka. View the source code of any page on your site. You will find that the <html>, <head> and <body> tags are already input by default. The code you enter in your page editor is entered in a form that places this code between the <body></body> tags.

We have headtags section which contains <head> items like page title and favicon

Use your developer tools or your wapka source code viewer to check it. That head tags form places the code you input between a default <head> element.

Use css float,

Float the image to the left

Add to your css stylesheet:

float:left;
Margin: auto;
Padding:auto;

Then resize the image to a proper image that's fits the header width.
