You don't vote in electorates. Electorates are the folks that vote in leaders.

Wrong use of words.

electorate /ɪˈlɛkt(ə)rət/
noun
1. all the people in a country or area who are
entitled to vote in an election.
2. the area represented by one Member of
Parliament.

Change your title to something like "Reasons people vote in the wrong people into office/power or you use any other noun BTW this should be in the politics section.

thanks, didn't know until now but words are used wrongly because they sound just perfect but wrong. God bless you.
