Hi, please I went through the school website but did not see advanced diploma in Power engineering. Closest I saw was power engineering technician which is a diploma course. Kindly help as regards this. Thanks

Ur friend can go for advanced diploma or PGD.. I studied Elect/Elect in Uniben worked as mentainance Engineer, graduated 2012. I got admission at college of the North Atlantic Newfoundland in Power Engineering advance diploma, and I also my Visa was approved last month going nxt year fall[/quote]

Okay. Click the assessing authority link which is TRA and it will direct you to the TRA website where you can check the requirements for assessment. What’s your qualification and did you check fitter occupation too?

I have pgd in electrical /electronics engineering.
I don't understand what you mean by fitter occupation.
TRA looks more like trade test when I look it up so am a bit confused

Go through the 3 lists MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL
Click any of the occupations that best relate to what you do.
When you click the occupation, scroll down to 'Anzsco code' and scroll to 'Tasks'
Check if the tasks relate to the occupation you have selected.
Revert here with occupation(s) you deem relate to what you do and we will take it up from there

In most cases, it’s always engineering technologist not a professional engineer. Which occupation/Anzsco code are you nominating?

Thanks for the response. I actually work in a generator company as service technician. I basically repair generators so I am not even sure of the occupation to nominate

But I saw HND being evaluated as 3 years diploma with a year postgraduate

From my own perceptive, your highest degree is PGD which wouldn't be equalvalnt to Master so why not evaluation your PGD and HND to have two degree which is far better than bachelor
