Got this from a friend this morning. Who could help me solve it.

I think the the answer lies with the letters E or H!
For E;taking away the last horizontal match stick that forms the letter E; the word becomes HOTFL which might mean Hold-On-Till-Father-Leaves

For H; taking away the only horizontal match stick that forms the letter H the wordmight form something like 110TEL; which might mean call 110 on the telephone. This answer, I seriously doubt cuz he must have had her line.
So I stick with the E thing!
