Do You Remember Your State Dial Code. by hairyanus: 11:38pm On Dec 08, 2014 |
Lets do this to educate those born in the 90s i am aware that Abuja and Lagos are probably the the only two places using their dial code. Ibadan-02 Kaduna- 066 Lagos -01 Enugu - 042 Onitsha - 046 Awka- 048 Imo 082 Portharcourt- 084 Ijenuode 037 Okitipupa-058 Lokoja- 057 Those days you put coin inside and relax to make calls...people on queue will be hissing if you waste time... Put the state or locality code you represent and share your experience on public phone booth. Let me start, I rep 042, one day i went to use the public phone booth on my street in New Haven, it was a bit exposed, and no serious cover from rain or sun shine. My friend i met there went in to make call while all of us remained on queue. Suddenly, rain started so we all went into the uncompleted building close bye and monitored when he will be done so that the next person can go in...na so my guy kept talking...we all complained but nobody could go and meet him...we waited for almost an hour...when the rain stopped he came out...the next person went in. I asked him who he called that took so long. He said his call was 3 minutes but he had to hold it on his ear and pretend to be talking because he cant go home under rain. I felt like slapping him. Share the code you rep and your experience if you are in the generation that saw and used publiv booths |
