This is a serial port based pic programmer and can program any pic mcu so far u check the datasheet and can locate the pic to cinnect the pgd, pgc, vdd, vss, and mclr. This can only work on pc that has serial port. It cant work using usb to serial converter. The programmer ide can be downloaded online just type winpicpgm on google. Hope this helps a hobbyists or a beginner who can't afford expensive programmer 1 Like
