We are recruiting for a Christian book publishing company located at Okota, Isolo, Lagos State, and we need a suitable candidate for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work.
• Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Allocate print space for story text, photos, and illustrations according to space parameters and copy significance, using knowledge of layout principles.
• Plan the contents of publications according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
• Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.

Requirements
• Applicants for any of the vacancies should normally be not older than 40 years and must possess verifiable, relevant and adequate experience,
• Possess outstanding and demonstrable IT skills, especially excellent competence in the use of the latest newspaper design and publishing software packages which must include PageMaker, MS Word, etc
• Possess outstanding and demonstrable writing, reporting and interviewing skills, where relevant, be creative, innovative, enterprising, problem-solving, flexible and able to combine multiple roles, be able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, IT-driven workplace with multiple inflexible deadlines, be able to work long hours, sometimes under pressure.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a HND/BSc degree in English Language, Mass Communicatrion or others.
• Relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Must be a practicing Christian who is after righteousness.

Candidates must be resident around Isolo and environs.

Salary: N40,000 - N50,000 per month.
