Before you consider keeping a non-human primate as a pet, please do your research very well. Not very many people are suited to keep monkeys as pets

You mean you actually want to rear monkey like goats or rabbits, or you just want a pet monkey..

I don't know about the rearing bit, unless you are well versed in non human primates, their behaviour, social structure, habit and feeding habits then it might be a difficult job keeping them. monkeys are quite mischievous and can be destructive.. If you get a wild adult monkeys, you are asking for trouble..Will you be rearing them for research or for pet market? Just curious

Personally, I know of odd monkey pets people usually buy from hausa travellers but not anyone having a troop of them. The north will be your best bet..

Left to me I will say these things are social animals that are best left in their natural habit..your call.
