I have a friend who graduated from a top University in Chicago in Chemical Engineering some 2/3 years ago.
After graduating, he went on to work for two different companies; One as a Science/Maths teacher to a very popular A' Levels programme that is affiliated with the US.

About almost less than a year later, he got a job with Halliburton (One of the top engineering companies) and after working for about a year, he was laid off due to the company reducing the number of staffs because of a certain merger that took place.

What/Where would you advice him to go or do?
