Then from the 1st image,
a + b = 10kg .................eq.1
From the 2nd image,
a + c = 20kg .................eq.2
And from the 3rd image,
b + c = 24kg .................eq.3
Now, eq.2 - eq.3 gives
a - b = -4kg ..................eq.4
eq.1 + eq.4 gives
2a = 6kg :. a = 3kg
From eq.1,
b = 10kg - a
:. b = 10kg - 3kg = 7kg
From eq.2,
c = 20kg - a
:. c = 20kg - 3kg = 17kg
Now the 4th image shows
a + b + c = 3kg + 7kg + 17kg = 27kg
