Our relationship is 1 year and 4 months now, I travelled and when I came back, she came to visit me, I noticed that she will starring at me without saying anything even while I was sleeping, she will not sleep rather be looking at me. I woke up from sleep one night and saw her starring at me without saying a word. It was then I asked her what’s going on and she opened up to me.

She said she had a discussion with her mother about me and her mom asked her with church so I attend, she told her catholic but I rarely goes to church. Her mother told her to breakup with me and find another serious man that will be going to church with her always. A man that they both will be doing mid night prayers with.
I remembered that I told her before the start of the relationship that am not a church goer and if she will not be comfortable dating a man that doesn’t go to church , she should not start the relationship but she entered. I have followed her to her church like 10 times since the relationship but she told me that she doesn’t like Catholics .

I have been advising her to accept what her mother said and not to disobey her . I wish she can accept her mothers request and breakup with me. But she’s confused. Her mother doesn’t know her daughter, She will be shocked to find some certain things about her.
