Job Summary
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for developing web applications and managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. We are looking for a developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. An understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.


Requirements
Proven software development experience in PHP and OOP development
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, AJAX
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, wordpress, osCommerce, etc
Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Twitter etc)
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks
Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
Understanding of MVC design patterns
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

Samples of projects you have done either personally or commercially is an advantage
Be ready to work and grow with the team
A Laptop
We don't mind applications from lady developers also
Mobile App Development capability is an added advantage (or the willingness to learn it)
MUST BE RESIDENT IN LAGOS
